Those days, it would've been wonderful to have the tech now to listen to and watch your favourite bands. We didn't, we went to the record stores and bought the singles or albums if lucky enough from pocket money/working.
Now it's brilliant to see at the touch of a fingertip, never too late πβ€
I hate cliches like then the music was better than today, but I cant help but clearly see that these people (almost all of them to the one!) were quite superior musicians operating their instruments to the far bigger and better capacity than today (with a few exceptions). People today do not know how to play the music in general. Thatβs the most obvious contrast to me. Compositions and quality of songs aside. Thanks for sharing this!
Hey little girl! What a song that was, so atmospheric, takes me straight back to finding it on pub jukebox. Take me back to early eighties please! Great stuff
I remember when I met the band JoBoxers, when they stayed at my sister's hotel. Great lads and very generous, I got lots of cool stuff and their cap. Wow 43 years ago, where does the time go?
Echo and the bunnymen with his t shirt hanging further and further down his shoulders, showing a weedy chest! Looks hilarious now but what great music πΆ π
Sorry but music now pails into insignificance compared what we were served up in the early 80's. So much original stuff, no constant samples of other peoples music, rap was yet to arrive. Take me back π₯
