I drive a 2006 XK. I agree that it's such a good looking car whenever you park it you can't help looking back at it. Gets a lot of compliments. And a child up to about 10 or even 12 years can fit very comfortably in the back seat behind the front passenger on long journeys

The first 80 secs were so nicely edited. Fun to watch. Yes, a great car and definitely a future classic.

I fondly remember the days when Jaguar made great cars and people knew when to use apostrophes !

I agree with everything you said about these cars. They are fantastic, especially at their current values. I've had mine longer than any other car I've owned. Other cars have come and gone but I've never been able to part with the XK. It has taken me all over the UK and to Europe and has genuinely been very reliable.

I can forgive its thirst for petrol as soon as I hear it fire into life and start driving.

I love my 2007 xk , wish I had bought one few years ago , drove a friends xk one day and just wanted one straight away , went home sold the Audi a5 cab and just had to have a jag ….
I love the body shape , comfort, and the way she picks up her skirt and grows and fly’s along.

I sold my convertible XK (4.2) last year, having taken it all over France. The £4k per year maintenance costs got too much - the subframe gremlins just wouldn't go away. I have regretted that decision every time I drive its replacement. Simply put, XKs are wonderful.

I've got 3 of these beauties, 2008 4.2 XKR, 2011 5.0 NA XK and a 2014 5.0 XKRS, literally the greatest car ever made if you factor in Price, Cost To Own, Looks and fun. All the appeal of a muscle car, the looks of a premium British GT, loads of great quality aftermarket parts and specialist mechanics that know everything about them, charging less per hour than a franchise autocenter does to fix a Polo.

Agreed. Lovely cars. I like the F Type also. My preference is for
a pink one with an electric motor. I like to continually stop for long coffee breaks when heading down to the south of France😂

*Tourers, being the plural of Tourer.

Dvd is where the sat nav disc lives. There are 2 Pedestrian sensors are behind the grill and early ones are known to fail. Your fault is not your bonnet airbags. In fact multiple error messages like you have usually points to a failing battery. Have it checked, anything lower than 12.6 volts then that could be your answer. XKs are very sensitive to low voltage. Brilliant cars though 👍

Isn't the saggy headlining ennoying, permanently touching your head 😅?

The advisories on this car indicates the car was not looked after. Whoever owned it didn't even want to change tyres.

To me red flags.

Nice car, but I will take my 1999 320SL all day long, as nice looking, far more reliable, more economical and you get 2 cars in one, with the panoramic hard top it's a fast back and without, it is an elegant convertible and the looks the car gets when you operate the fully automatic soft top is worth all the cash when it goes wrong!

I love my 2006 NN X150. Fantastic continental cruiser. Couple comments on your very good video. Pedestrian sensors are at the front on the crossbar and on the NA are easily accessible. From the top. The Sat nav issue is quite like!y to be availed antenna. Cheap fix is an aftermarket item .DVD player in the boot is for the Sat nav disc. A six CD pla Dr is accessed, via the slot under the info screen. Hope it helps. Good !nick with a great car.
