On the night of February 25th, 2023, 24-year-old Jade Benning called one of her oldest and closest friends. She wasn't calling to catch up. In fact, for much of the call, it seemed as if Jade wasn't even speaking to her friend, and instead, this friend listened as Jade confronted the man standing inside her apartment with her: Blaise Taylor, a man who jade had recently reconnected with. A man who's child she was carrying. A man who would later call himself her boyfriend. Jade sounded confused, her speech was becoming rapidly impaired; she said she couldn't feel her legs. And then she asked Blaze a question that would eventually become the center of a murder investigation: What did you put in my drink?

To not want children but not using protection is insane.

Dude should of been googling, what is a condom?

to get THREE different women pregnant and still have the audacity to crash out about it to the point of killing a woman is unreal

It's wild to me someone would rather be a Murderer than a Father.

Because of Jade taking pictures of the evening and calling her best friend, she personally handed this case to the police and the prosecution. It couldn't have been made easier! But the police botched it!

He couldn’t just LEAVE HER TF ALONE… let her have HER BABY. And he could just go on about his life alone. She was fully prepared to go it alone, with her family and friends beside her. Blaise is incredibly evil, unbelievably selfish, and cruel beyond measure. He should’ve been given capital punishment… slowly. 🤬 rest in peace, Jade and Ivy 😢

Nijayah has the warmest smile ever and seems like the best friend a person could ever have. I hope she’s doing well

This is one of the saddest cases. It makes me so angry. If you didn’t want the baby then just leave.

@myradavis1139 4 days ago

men would rather MURDER a woman and her future child rather than… gasp… pay child support!! so sickening. wrap your dick up if you aren’t ready to pay child support
Rest in Power Jade and Ivy❤

This case is heart breaking. The phone call. The multiple women he’s getting pregnant and the abortions he’s pushing.. then when he doesn’t get his way.. he kills

@maganmoore1770 4 days ago

How eerie to imagine him watching her take a drink waiting for a reaction from it, ugh gave me chills

@mistybraun9973 4 days ago

If he didn’t want kids, he could have also had an outpatient procedure. But for ego and misogyny he preferred to make these women do all of the work.

There is absolutely nothing redeemable about this man. NOTHING.

@Jesses_Girl1027 4 days ago

Does this man not understand how to prevent pregnancy? No protection and then expects the women to terminate the pregnancy.

@froghandz 4 days ago

Outrageous how he’d gotten multiple other young women pregnant before, didn’t want a baby each time, yet never learned how to wrap it up to avoid the outcome he didn’t want. He’s despicable, and it’s so sad the way he went around treating women the way he did. He deserves the worst 🙃

@fritzjagr 4 days ago

Every moment that a guy like Blaise is not behind bars, his existence alone puts women in grave danger.

@chelseadessauer9075 3 days ago

This investigation was an absolute disaster!!! The police and detectives should be ashamed of themselves.

“Well he’s a DUMBASS” I said it in my head and Derrick said it out loud !!

Nijayah is such an amazing friend. Rest in peace to Jade and Ivy. They deserved so much more in this life. I hope Blaze gets exactly what he deserves.

I can’t imagine how terrified she must’ve been when she noticed she started feeling off, I can’t imagine that inner panic and then slowly getting weaker and weaker and not being able to do anything about it. Ugh, just sadistic. Rest in peace Jade and Ivy.
