The idea of that they "miscalculated the size of the creature" to explain that Legendary Godzilla is taller than the 1954 Godzilla is so good

A Godzilla skeleton being in the Natural History Museum is absolutely amazing.

I love that this video is presented like a legit broadcast from the 50's. From the narrator's delivery to the film scratches, this is amazing.

Godzilla when he gets to Tokyo after they turn off the lights: “Huh…guess no one’s home.”

The cut from Skull Island to a nuclear blast was so funny. For a second it came off as “of course we then had to just atomize that island. The place was fucking freaky”

15:00 The idea that the U.S.S.R and the U.S worked together because of the new monster threat is cool.

the anti godzilla wall being torn down so easily was really funny because he literally pulled the spinning high tension wires down…

The reveal that godzilla was way larger than the japanese hoped for reminded me of how castle bravo was supposed to be way smaller than the actual blast.

seeing the legendary godzilla in a 1954 style scene like that is surreal in the best way. this is a masterpiece

I love how Godzilla was like "fuck that noise" and it was immediately on sight the moment he locked eyes with Manda, didn't even waste a second charging up that atomic breath.

a mix between 1954,1955, and legendary godzilla is absolutely a genius idea

Holy hell the animation's improved a lot compared to the first. Massive props to the animators. I assume multiple because of how professional it looks.

This is….. incredible. The worldbuilding is fantastic. The concepts, the use of different film monsters throughout history and creating a world where they all perfectly coexist, I love this. Some of these scenes were genuinely terrifying to watch
