However, after years of unchecked trauma and a bad crowd she surrounded herself with, she started to fall down a deep dark rabbit hole of toxicity and controversy which nearly ended her career online.

I feel like Lottie, Birdie, puppychan etc. stand as examples of the fact that minors (especially ones that are clearly struggling mentally) should not be having a massive platform online.

Lottie is, unfortunately, one of MANY cases of a minor being a victim of manipulation by an older party and said victim being demonized online.

It actually annoys me how people will harass her or draw themselves harming her rather than address Catcel and what he did. I do not condone her actions but the amount of people hating on her and not her groomer is so disgusting.

I'm not the only one who have noticed this uptick of "grooming cult" ran by neo-Nazis who specifically targets black and brown kids?
not just that but I cannot help but jut feel so bad for Lottie but also I'm really disturbed that she is essentially getting more hate than the podophile, Nazi groomer who was all over her.

nowadays it's pretty clear lottie only comes back to post some weird art in order to get attention, since the base of all her problematic shit is her attention seeking problems, but twitter mfs are very quick to point at her accounts and say "YALL LOOK ITS LOTTIE' and then everyone goes and gives her the attention she's so desperate for, therefore making a vicious cycle where she leaves to take care of herself, relapses, comes back wanting attention, gets what she wants, decides to leave again

I feel like the best thing for Lottie to do is to stop drawing in general and get help. Her drawing isn’t helping herself at all. None of us are therapist and she needs professional help

honestly, her transparency about why she posted what she did is commendable. she just needs to stay off the internet and soul search. i wish the best for her in her mental recovery.

Just want to mention that not all Moe art is like this. Many people just like the style of the big eyes and shading from that time. Absolutely tons of artists do this style and do not do this sort of lolicon stuff or even associate with 4chan. lottie definitely is, but Just making sure not everyone believes that all moe art is just lolicon. Its definitely not, you just have bad actors like Lottie
