Toby Fox games and fandom food contamination. The more things change, the more things stay the same.

The fact it was the Takoyaki specifically is what makes this shit funny. Sus tako is literally a plot point in chapter 5

"Cakes were cancelled due to it being a "hassle" to buy and bring to the event" in other words they didn't even make time to drop by the local bakery and pick up some cakes

The takoyaki being the food to poison people is ironic. Much like in the game it was suspicious. Maybe it was intentional after all :D

the fact that they didn't even need to serve real takoyaki, they could've just made cakepops and call it takoyaki, it even fits since Noelle says she doesn't like real takoyaki in the game ("It dosen't have REAL octopus in it, right?").
It would have fit with both the game and the cafe theme (since you expect sweet things in a cafe, not... not properly rerigerated sea food)

"Mysterious WInds..." Nah man, someones in the bathroom cuz of the Takoyaki. Nothing mysterious about it.

NormalNPC has real-life feats now, just a bit longer and he'll surpass Mr. Wing Ding himself

Damn, they shoulda deadass made it a bake sale. No refrigeration? Making frozen fries in an air fryer? Spoiled takoyaki? Could have been brownies, cookies, banana bread, and that would have survived in airtight containers without being a freakin’ health risk. Look, logistics can be hard, but you had to know ahead of time if you weren’t going to have cold storage.
