I think one of the reasons why the Raimi trilogy works as well as it does was because Sam embraced their source material as much as he could, at a time when a lot of studios were afraid to give the characters accurate costumes and instead dress them like Matrix knockoffs he instead insisted on maintaining the iconic blue and red suit yet slightly updated with high quality embellishments such as the raised webbing and the more angular logos which imo struck the perfect balance

6:17 Story time - I got the "web shooters" for Christmas in 2002; out of the box for 10 minutes, and I managed to get web all over the ceiling. Too tall to completely clean, a portion stayed until it dried out into a thin, faint blue squiggly that remained for a further five years until we finally moved.

OUT AM I???? Unfortunately I had to reupload this one. Original got dealt an after-the-fact copyright claim with some of the music that ended up being too destructive to the video for me. It was one of my best performing videos too lol. Reuploads even early on can be quite hit or miss in terms of performance so sharing this video around is definitely appreciated!
