Garik promised "the most delicious buckwheat" and a recipe that's incredibly easy to prepare—practically for lazy people. I decided to test both claims in my own kitchen. Is it really that simple, and is the result worth the time?
I try to follow the author's instructions: ground chicken, carrots, onions, herbs, garlic, Svan salt, butter, tomato paste, and, of course, buckwheat.
However, as I begin cooking, I start to question the word "simple." You need to chop, grate, form meatballs, fry them in batches, cook the vegetables, rinse the buckwheat... And yet Garik promised a recipe for lazy people. 😄
But the main thing is the taste.
Garik calls this buckwheat "delicious" and "a fairy tale" and recommends making it. So Ira and I will try the finished dish and decide: is this really the buckwheat worth all the effort, or was it all a waste of time trying to turn ordinary buckwheat into a culinary adventure?
And yes, Ira and I were suspiciously close this time. But you'll find out why in the episode.
