Near Death Experience Story | NDE | Heaven | God | Evil | Justice | Imagine Heaven | John Burke

CONTENT WARNING: This episode contains discussion of kidnapping, severe trauma, abuse, and horrific treatment that may be disturbing or triggering for some viewers. Please use discretion when listening.

How can a loving God allow unimaginable evil?

It’s a question that can shake our faith to its core. When we hear stories of innocent people suffering at the hands of others, it can make us question God’s goodness, His love, and even whether He is truly present in the darkest moments of this world.

Debbie Ali’s story takes us directly into that tension.

After being kidnapped and subjected to horrific evil, Debbie came face-to-face with the kinds of experiences that seem impossible to reconcile with a loving God. But what happened during her near-death experience gave her a radically different perspective on evil, justice, and what God is doing behind the scenes.

Her story does not minimize suffering or offer easy answers. Instead, it sheds light on a God who sees every injustice, who is not indifferent to evil, and who is actively working to overcome darkness with love, redemption, and ultimately justice.

In this powerful episode of Imagine Heaven, John Burke sits down with Debbi Ali to explore what she experienced, what she learned about God’s heart toward those who suffer, and why even the darkest evil does not get the final word.

If you have ever wondered, “Where is God when terrible things happen?” or “How can God be good when there is so much evil in the world?” Debbie’s story offers a profound perspective on hope and the ultimate triumph over evil.

WOW! This is THE BEST testimony I have EVER heard! I cried when she turned her Keeper’s life around and brought him to JESUS! What a strong, faithful woman you are Debbie!

My nieces, 16 and 10, stopped for gas after school before meeting their parents at a restaurant. They went inside to use the restroom and were approached by a woman asking them questions about their school, etc. Then they were followed by two men wearing turbans. They called their dad and he was outside waiting for them. The men followed them all the way to the restaurant, but disappeared when they saw their dad. This was just a few months ago in a major Indiana city. Parents, please tell your children to be very aware of their surroundings.

I saw her in 2024, as a new Christian, and I've never forgotten "God always hears the prayers of mothers".. and because of that I have prayed diligently for my adult children and he since has LITERALLY answered my prayers. In my heart I know its because I first heard it from her. I look forward to meeting my beautiful sister in Christ, one day soon 🤍

This is the most impactful testimony/NDE I have ever watched. The extent of God's mercy and understanding...that we would grow to be like Jesus. Sobering. 🙏🙏🙏

This is amazing thank you for sharing this. I escaped a trafficking situation back in 2012 and my babysitter or “keeper” as she says started talking to me and discovered through our conversation that my best friend at the time was his estranged niece. He felt guilty and tried to talk the pimp who was keeping me captive out of selling me to a network (at the time I was oblivious to their future plans to traffic me to South America) but I overheard him saying something like “we can’t do this she’s like family” and I didn’t understand what he was talking about but yeah trafficking is in our backyard it’s horrific but Jesus can redeem anything and anyone ❤

I really really needed this particular story tonight, to remind me to not feel powerless against evil but to rather remember that with God in my boat I'm gonna stay afloat.... No matter what the storm is! 🙏🏻 What a testimony ❤❤❤

Hi Debbie, a fellow Trini here. I am a Christian also. I am so very, very sorry to hear all what you went through.Yes anger is what comes forward. Those men have to have been demon possessed to do such evil things.
Thank God you didn't die. There is too much Crime In Trinidad and the police hardly catches any of those people. Thank you for sharing my sister. May God bless you richly in Jesus' mighty name. 38:47

I am crying because I can relate to what it is like to be in the presence of God (Ibdid not die, but somehow He brought me up to Him. I was not looking for that to happen. It was very spontaneous) and nothing exists in His presence...no negativity or imperfection ......and how God was very specific on giving you instructions to your book. All of your testimony has deeply impacted me! ❤❤ I listen to NDE's to help me understand what happened to me to help me know it wasn't in my head. My whole being experienced it. I saw the grass as individual blades....alive....the sand to....the buildings....everything worships God! Continuously! It all blends together in unity making one sound of praise to God

I cried with her, for all the bad she had to go through, she gives such great understanding, for bad happenings. And I laugh with her, for Jesus holding her in his arms. I once had a vision, of sitting in the father's lap. It was joy unspeakable and full of Glory. And not a care in the world. ❤ WOW what a beautiful testimony she has... WONDERFUL ‼️🙌🏼
