Surprisingly short video, given the subject

Ferrari really lost the 1999 title with the "Major Mal-Misorganization Problem" pitstop for Irvine at the Nurburgring, where they forgot how many wheels go on an F1 car.

Jacky Ickx once stated he was glad to not have won the 1970 drivers' championship, because he didn't feel it was right to take the title away from someone who couldn't defend it.

I find it unbelievable that McLaren went from champions, to backmarkers, to champions again in less time than it’s taken for Ferrari to win another championship 😂

The start of 2022 was one of the biggest false dawns in F1 history.

RIP to all tifosis who will be born too soon, or too late to see Ferrari win an F1 championship, either driver or team

2010 absolutely should've been on here, Alonso being the big favourite to win the title, over the two Red Bulls and Hamilton, only for them to bottle it on strategy because they were so preoccupied with what Webber was doing they seemed to forget about Vettel, meaning they ended up stuck behind Petrov at the tail end of the points, and forfeited the title.

What about 2024? Ferrari went "missing" in a small stretch in the middle of the season, and by the end, they lost the constructors' title by 14 points.
What about 2025? With a very strong 2024 season, Ferrari decided to reinvent their car for 1 year, at the end of the technical regulations era.

Now you should go watch "every time the All Blacks threw away the Rugby World Cup"

A little surprised that '97-'99 weren't mentioned.

'97, Schumi had the title lead going to Jerez, but had his "incident" with Villeneuve & lost the title.

'98, Schumi 4 points behind Hakkinen going into Suzuka, wins pole, then stalls the car, drops to the rear, runs over debris & retires.

'99, Irvine 2 points ahead of Hakkinen going into Suzuka, Ferraris bottle the start, Hakkinen drives into the sunset.

It doesn't matter how much time passes I still wanna cry remembering 2017 and 2018. Watching my favorite driver and favorite team losing in that way is depressing.

9:20 Keke won the championship by 5 points to Pironi, not 1, and Pironi didn't participate to 5 races from 16 because of his accident, not "half the season"

20:00 Missed opportunity to talk about THAT pitstop in the nurburgring...

The Schumacher era was the exception to the rule that Ferrari is mostly 2-3-4 material. It took importing Benetton to make that happen.

Ah man.
Count in 1998.

Michael stalling the car on the grid in Japan meant he had to take the very last spot after the extra formation lap.

What Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, and the entire Ferrari crew had missed was the fact that if another driver stalls during the start procedure, then Michael can reclaim his pole position.

Ferrari would just had to ask Irvine to casually stall his car too, and Michael could have held his lead.
Mika would still have had to start from the 3rd grid spot, as Irvines would be left empty, as per the rules of the time.

I’d say 1982 was definitely Ferrari’s biggest lost chance for the WDC. Yet, without the double tragedies of Pironi and Villeneuve, that season would barely have had a mention.

What always gets me about the pitstop mishap in Singapore 2008 is that it wasn't even Massa's fault. He did what the new lights system Ferrari was using that year told him. The lights just. Were wrong. Something that had happened to Ferrari earlier that year before by the way, I believe it was at Valencia with Kimi.
