After a busy day at work, I often wonder, "How long can I maintain good vision?" Each new episode represents dozens and dozens of hours spent in front of a screen. I love what I do, but what if, in a few years, it's too late to fix anything? I know many people are living a similar life.
To understand whether it's possible to preserve vision in a world where people are practically glued to their screens, I invited Kirill Borisovich Pershin, one of the most respected specialists in Russian ophthalmology and the medical director of the Excimer Clinic, to speak with us.
We discussed what really helps maintain visual acuity, and also what the future holds: bionic eyes, neural implants, and technologies that sound like science fiction but are already working.
