Definitely will look better with the rally sticker back on  nice manta

Awesome video man really looking forward to seeing the next instalment 😎👌🏻

Knew from the thumbnail, it was a Manta.  Unmistakable tail. The old Rothmans colours are nice, iconic. I was always a fan of the Andrews sponsored Russell Brookes. When rallying was at its best. The rally of Britain actually went all over hundreds of miles rather than a few short stages in one forest.

I had a replica 400 in the 90s and had a 3ltr 24v Omega fitted, enjoy seeing your mods and modern upgrades

Millington 2.5 ❤

In the 1990’s we had a customer with the 3.0 Senator straight 6 in a mk1 Cavalier. Fabulous car.

It's a manta, a very nice looking one, wish I'd seen it for sale.

My favourite ❤️
Fit a 2.4L from a Frontera with twin webers.

Nice little project what about the sabb engine 2 ltr turbo engine in it

Knew it would be a Manta from the off. Your description of the driving position reminds me rather of the Austin Metro my wife had 30 years ago where the pedals were so off-set they seemed to be in the same place for both LHD and RHD models.

I grew up watching Russell brooks and Jimmy McCrae on TV blasting through the forests so a bit biased,it would look great with a spotlight pod on it , also it's in great condition

Very Smart, it's in good hands.. Yup, the full-livery is very cool. looks in fair condition too

Definetly a red top c20xe engine would be perfect for this car

C20XE Stroker (up to 2.2 2.3, ...), + itb's + camshafts + standalone ECU

Other fun options could be:
c20let, c20xet, B234L, B202L,...

Awesome... more mantas😊 we put a 3.0 carlton gsi engine in one. Its great fun... wheelspins in 5th gear

What a beauty. I'm jealous 😊

For me the only option is the Red Top, fantastic engines and infinitely tuneable.

13:51 A supercharged V8, of course lol

I seen a for sale ad for this car the other day and straight away thought of you haha

The front end is capable of housing a straight-six…. the choice is endless 😊❤
