it's a good thing she got all those E tanks, i can't imagine how much harder this would be at low health

Going from thinking you failed a mission because you took damage in a dream to taking forced damage in front of everyone and proving it wasn't real is one of the greatest character arcs I've ever witnessed.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it, but I love the running joke of always making sure to grab the “incredibly important” E-Tanks.

One thing I'm surprised you didn't mention about the cutscene is that in this game Mega Man loses his charged shot when he gets hit, and he clearly doesn't lose his charge when he takes the (fake) hit from Dark Man.

Also Cure Black cameo ftw

I cried when Beat said “I am going to beat you to death” and carried the run. Truly the challenge of all time

"Collecting the letters is the only way to Beat the boss."

That made me laugh way too hard.

9:58 "collect the letter 5" never change Gamechamp, never change.

This is the first time I've seen VG Myths actually debunk a VG Myth.

I can't wait for the Rockman 6 video to start with "Good morning everybody and welcome to VG Myths the online internet video game tv show already aware of your comments asking for Rockman 7"

“Refill to 0”
“The letter 5”
“The brilliant Alien Zombie Scientist Doctor Blues Wily”
I think the damageless runs finally got to ole gamechamp 💀

"So don't expect Rockman 5 anytime soon" YOU ALWAYS EXCEED OUR EXPECTATIONS MS GAMECHAMP

25:45 I can't believe you went full-on detective mode just to disprove one single dubious instance, and how entertaining and fascinating that was.

IT'S GO TIME, PEOPLE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL, REPEAT, THIS NOT A DRILL.

It's a Rock.

the pedantic (praise) ways you get out of stuff like the forced damage feels so “anime twist where it feels hopeless but the protagonists triumphantly pull through somehow” and i love it a lot

Love how the intro is both a callback and foreshadowing to the semantics of getting hit. Great as always

average amateur VG Challenger: Yeah we get hit in the cutscene but cutscenes don't count

God Gamer Gamechamp-san: I can prove that I am absolutely not Getting Hit™

29:50 I still really love that with the whole storyline of Wily trying to make this perfectionist Rockman take damage this absolutely works. Wily coming up with the idea to try and gaslight Rockman into thinking he took damage was his best plan so far.

31:15 Excuse me, Ms. Gamerchamp, but if you’ve ever read the manga for the Rockman series which is confirmed to be canon to the original games, we see multiple instances of Blues and Wily being in the same room! The Blues that we see simply cannot be Dr. Wily! It’s impossible!

CLEARLY, the Dr. Wily we see in Rockman 5 is the evil alien robotic zombie CLONE of Blues who was created from the remains of the original Dr. Wily after his demise in Rockman 3. Unbeknownst to Blues, Kalinka had secretly linked Blues to the Necronomicon’s ritual to resurrect Dr. Wily, fusing Wily’s makeup with a portion of Blues’s!

The real Blues would never betray us! This Blues taking the form of Dr. Wily is merely some fake clone! Your theory of Blues and Dr. Wily being one and the same is understandable at first glance, but with proper reading, is demonstrably and semantically untrue!

WAKE UP EVERYONE SHE’S HERE
