I was truly terrified that Magcargo was going to make this list, but the existence of Ledian is a major stroke of luck for our protagonist.

Gumshoos would probably have avoided being the worst if it actually released Hypno files.

Edit: I can't believe Hypno got banned from Nintendo Online.

Luvdisc so forgettable that even FSG forgot it existed

@vossboss220 9 months ago

Dedenne couldnt even learn dazzling gleam in gen 6... let that sink in

Beedrill's animation will never be the same again.

Castform not being mentioned as one of the worst in Gen III is already a win

15:52 welp. Time to make a team with every single pokemon mentioned in this video and try to make it work in the lowest tier possible.

5:08 Fun fact: Smogon players have developed ZU metagames in older generations, and in Gen 3 ZU, Mightyena is the undisputed best Pokemon in the tier. So there actually is a metagame where Mightyena is a titan of competitive dominance

@kalarse 9 months ago

Oranguru being mentioned triggers me since it always had its shenanigans in VGC since it was legal

@jman2050 9 months ago

Today I learned Mightyena learned Heal Bell for some reason???

11:38 this was not on my 2025 bingo card

At least early game bug and normal types have a function in game. Noticeably a lot of these are early route Pokemon that you’re intended to switch out. Hitmonchan has no such excuse.

Still salty that Legends Arceus didn't give Noctowl an evolution or at the very least a Hisuian form with an evolution based off the Snowy Owl. Also kinda wish it gave Bibarel an evolution

@riccardocasu5576 9 months ago (edited)

Wait, you forget that Hitmonchan has access to all the three elemental punches!

Oh right, is RBY and so they must use that pathetic 35 Special stat.

(To give an idea on the "pathetic", Hitmonchan Fire Punch with a critical hit won't OHKO Parasect 90% of the time)

10:40 the cocteau twins reference out of nowhere was so clearly written by BKC lol

13:43 I still have nightmares of when this damn squirrel was an absolute berry munching menace in Unite when it released.

@brandontherabboat4850 9 months ago

4:12 You could literally triple Ledian’s Attack stat and it’d still be unimpressive, especially by today’s standards. It’s gonna take more than a Mega to salvage its nonexistent battling career.

@catman9222 9 months ago

Imagine a mon that makes LEDIAN look useful

Sometimes when I feel like my life is going too well, I look at Hitmonchan's gen 1 stats on Smogon to bring myself back down to earth.

Speaking as someone who used Wugtrio throughout their playthrough of Scarlet

yeah, this is probably one of the absolute worst fully evolved Pokémon of all time. It is STAGGERINGLY bad and unusable. 😭
