The case of Miguel Ángel Domínguez Espinosa and his daughter María, 39 and 8 years old respectively, murdered in their home in Almonte (Huelva) on a Saturday during a local festival in April 2013. No one found out until Monday. Thirteen years later, no one has been convicted, and the case remains open with no known perpetrator. Sixty-four minutes, told from the father's perspective, with five voices in addition to the narrator.

That April 27th, the town was out in the streets: it was the last Saturday before the Virgin of El Rocío returned to her village, and the Salve Regina was being sung a hundred meters from the front door. Miguel Ángel was watching the soccer game at home with a friend; María was waiting for it to end because her father had promised to take her out for pizza.

What the video recounts is what followed: three days of forensic investigation at that house, thirty-nine fingerprints and fifty-five hairs from no one identifiable, eight thousand pages of documentation, and seven hundred interviews without a single name being revealed. Fourteen months later, only one thing: the National Institute of Toxicology found a man's skin on three clean towels. The entire case was built on that evidence.

That man spent 1,200 days in pretrial detention and sat before a jury for a month. Nine neighbors responded in two and a half pages.

WHAT ALMOST ALL COVERAGE GETS WRONG
· It's circulating, even in the free Spanish-language encyclopedia, that DNA indicates who the killer was. This is not a fact: it's the theory of one side, and three acquittals say otherwise.

ABOUT WHAT ISN'T BEING TOLD
Francisco Javier Medina, the only defendant, was acquitted by a jury in October 2017, an acquittal upheld by the High Court of Justice of Andalusia and the Supreme Court on December 21, 2018. He is, for all intents and purposes, innocent, and here he is presented as nothing else: the arguments of the Civil Guard, the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the plaintiffs are presented with their author, their date, and the verdict behind them. The case remains open, with no known perpetrator. Regarding María, it is said that she could have left through the door but didn't, because that's what the prosecutor, the City Council, and her family said; how she died is not explained, the number of injuries—more than 150 between the two of them—is not divided, and the interior of the house is not shown.

CONTENT SYNTHETIC
The voice, music, sound effects, and sound effects are all generated by artificial intelligence. There are seven synthetic voices—five characters, the narrator, and the voice of the announcements—and none of them are from a recording of the case: three are dramatized portrayals of real people who only repeat what has been published—Miguel Ángel's brother, a forensic geneticist who wasn't an expert witness in this case, and the defense attorney—one is a fictional character, a journalist from Huelva, and the fifth reads unidentified documents. Of the 181 images, 73 are real photographs and documents from the case—47 copyrighted and cited on screen, 26 licensed for public domain—and 108 are AI-generated recreations of environments without on-screen captions: no interior is the actual house, and no person, document, or location from the case is recreated.
