11:30 The mad lads did it. They put the belt on Drew!

The first 7 minutes were my favorite of the video lmao

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! For 2026, whatever you all wish to accomplish, I hope it happens and more! Stay blessed everyone!

tam nakano vs saya kamitani deserves a serious shoutout. first career vs. career match in a major promotion in three decades and it absolutely delivered

These videos for me feel like a flashback filling in everything that happened before that hustle show.

Like a mystery that's been drip fed over the last few weeks.

May as well share my favourite matches here, it was a tough year to pick the best matches as it was stacked imo:
12) Owens/Zayn (Elimination Chamber)- I was super invested into this short revival of this rivalry, match was awesome to boot
11) Anarchy in the Arena- pure hardcore nonsense which I was so into. The music bit at the start got me amped up big time, especially heading Bodies lol.
10) Omega/Speedball/Ricochet (Dynasty)- just a fun triple threat in a year of great triple threats. The crane kick spot in particular was incredible, it’s the main reason I have this match on my list as Ricochet sold the build up to it and the spot itself incredibly well
9) Reigns/Punk/Rollins (WM41 Night 1)- good fun action with a shocking swerve at the end, I think if the Vision was handled better this would be higher but as is the match was amazing.
8) Takeshita/Bandido (ROH Supercard of Honor)- as a pure match this was superb. The story wasn’t there as I don’t watch ROH, but from bell to bell this might be the best worked match of the year
7) Hangman/Mox (All In Texas)- might surprise people to see this low, but to me I feel like the interference could’ve been handled better. It was good, but there’s a part of me that prefers WWE’s handling of big interference spots with the entrance music playing like at Cody/Roman 2. Still, this match has my favourite finish of the year thanks to Mox’s selling.
6) Cena/Styles (Crown Jewel)- a love letter to pro wrestling, and a fantastic tribute to Cena and Styles’ past. Psychology is not strong here, but this was a good vibes match that was once in a lifetime!
5) Swerve & Ospreay/Young Bucks (All In Texas)- just a great tag match with great sequences and a simple but well executed story.
4) Iyo/Rhea/Bianca (WM41 Night 2)- all gas no breaks action, loved it. Iyo winning was the surprising but correct choice to, really made the match for me
3) Mariah/Toni (Hollywood Ending)- a phenomenal end to AEW’s best woman’s story. Had all the violence and callbacks to make this a classic
2) Je’Von/Trick/Oba (NXT Stand and Deliver)- I’m an NXT mark, so this had to go on here. Some of the craziest spots are in here, and this cemented Je’Von as the future of WWE in my eyes
1) Omega/Kidd (NJPW Wrestle Dynasty)- despite not being a New Japan viewer, this was excellent action and was a star making performance from Gabe Kidd. Excellent stuff.

As for worst matches, Mox/Copeland at Revolution has to be my worst match of the year. Just awful stuff that made me bored and mad after it had finished. ZSJ/Umino at WK19, Cena/Cody 1, Cena/Lesnar, HS/Patriarchy/JetSpeed amd HS/Brodido/FTR are also up there for worst match of the year

I feel like I'm crazy, I enjoyed both Gunther/Jey title matches at Mania and RAW this year

11:34 Well this aged like milk

11:30 well well well

Takeshita vs Ospreay and Takeshita vs Bandido would both probably be in my top 3 and neither made the list 😅 Would have loved for either Mayu/Syuri or Tam Nakank/Saya Kamitani to have made the cut too, but always going to be an uphill battle from a promotion outside of the top 2.

It's been an awesome year for wrestling, so many that could have easily made the top 10. The tag TLC from smackdown, Rhea/Iyo from evolution, Takeshita/Hechicero, Ospreay/Fletcher, so many possible candidates.

Awesome list

39:52 let's not forget Jey in one of his Theory matches had to hit approximately 3 moves and messed up two of them

24:18 I cried just watching the entrances. Hangman coming out to his original theme and walking out of the babyface side of the stage because he believes in himself again is a beautiful detail to those paying attention, and it's not blatantly spelled out to the audience like they're dimwits.

Thanks guys. I needed a video to pass some time alone today. Happy holidays

I quite enjoyed Rhea vs Iyo at evolution

Hangman vs Osprey for the Owen tournament is one of my all time favorite matches. It was most definitely the right move to have Hangman win. I truly didn't think he was going to going into the match. When he won I was ecstatic. Hangman is such a wrestling gem. He is literally the best character in all of wrestling. His matches have stories inside them that no other wrestler does in such great detail.
The texas death against MJF was so detailed. I think most fans missed it. The story was that MJF and Hangman were so alike, as Hangman said in his promo. MJF did all the stuff Hangman did. The syringe spot. The dragging through glass. The hanging. Ect, Ect. What a story. All the details Hangman puts into his matches. Like seeing the emotion in him after he put the stipulation of never challenging for the world title when he was walking away. He does all those things in everything he does. No one does it like Hangman. He is my favorite wrestler, and in my opinion the best going today. He is truly brilliant at what he does. Everything is for a reason.

Is this the first time "the same match" has appeared on both lists? Cena vs Cody being on both lists is wild

Saya Kamitani vs Tam Nakano is truly the MoTY.  The story going into it, the match itself, and the post match promo are all god tier.  Nothing from WWE nor AEW can come close IMO.  If you are reading this and have not seen it, it's on YouTube.  Yes it's in Japanese but trust me, just the match itself will blow you away.  Reading up about the whole Phenex Queen to Dark Phoenix storyline only makes it better.  Do it!!

Can confirm the enterprise Lego set is awesome and quite large

Here's the thing about Butterbean vs Suzuki, who was expecting it to be any good?

No Kyle Fletcher vs Hangman at All Out feels harsh but each to their own
