The fact they imply that Maxx C was one of Moses' plagues is just phenomenal

By the time Joey entered Battle Phase, Weevil had a total of 16 cards in Deck. Taking into account Joey’s 7000 LP, it meant he crashed into Thunder King a total of 17 times to win via Deck out, making Joey’s winning LP 1900.

"Oh fuck its Maxx "C" "
I love how everyone instantly knows what he's about to play XD

I cannot believe that Joey Wheeler took the Maxx C challenge and won on his first try.

Now we need a sequel where Rex Raptor pulls out his Dragonmaid deck.

So I decided to watch this despite watching it myself:

The foreshadowing was EVERYWHERE, from the structure deck Joey chose to Weavile's focus on card advantage being his downfall (Pot of Desires).
This video is completely, unequivocally peak.

I love that Weevil’s looping monologue about the combo is basically the same as Marik’s when Yugi decked him out with Slifer and Card of Safe Return.

The Monogatari bit over the traptrix combo was fucking insane

Guys, Nibiru can only be activated in the Main Phase. Joey enters battle phase to start the loop.

So I was actually able to reverse engineer what each Duelist’s opening hand was.

Weevil: 5 Starting + 2 Pot of Desires
-Pot of Desires (definitely in starting hand)
-Traptrix Pudica
-Traptrix Myrmeleo
-Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare
-Floodgate Trap Hole
-Gravedigger’s Trap Hole (These three can just barely be made out when Weevil places his traps)
-Maxx “C”

Joey: 5 Starting + 1 Draw
-Dark Ruler No More
-Harpie’s Feather Duster
-Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju
-Instant Fusion
-Comrade Swordsman of Landstar
-D.D. Crow

I honestly didn’t think I would be able to figure out every card in each character’s opening hand. The fact that I could shows just how much thought and planning went into scripting this duel. This video is amazing

The Monogatari edits fucking killed me like that's 100% what's going on in Weevil's head

Actually insane how good the Weevile VA is

"I'm only 31!" god i felt that

WE LIVE IN JAPAN!?!?!?
I'm fucking wheezing 😂

I can never be considered "Normal" while playing Traptrix, ever. It's so over 😔

I can't wait for Joey to win Maxx C, since it's probably the 'rarest' card that was played.

Kaiba losing 'because of Maxx C' to Joey would be TOTAL peak 😂

What is impressive about this video was the attention to detail, cuz this would work. Joey wouldn’t run out of life points from 7000 and taking 300 per attack if Weevil’s deck is 22 cards or less. We can assume Weevil is running a 40 card deck because that’s pretty standard, draws 5 to start he would be at 35 cards. Then after resolving pot of desires puts him one off the threshold; 10 off for cost puts him down to 25, then draws 2 on res puts him at 23. Then summoning pudica to search garden then puts him at the threshold of 22 cards. Joey can only commit 23 attacks before the 24th would lethal himself. 23 x 300 would be 6900, Joey would have 100 lp left. So with 22 cards left in Weevil’s deck, 22 attacks would draw him out, and the 23rd would force the deck out scenario. The thing is Weevil obviously had less than 22 cards in his deck, but we can stop counting after 22.

Grandpa WOULD play adamancipators...

As someone that’s played Gundam EXVS with RedMufflerMan he is such a kind and good person it’s so awesome to see his videos blowing up in the yugioh community. He definitely deserves it with the work he puts in.

I think this channel proves you can make cinematic duels for the anime without relying on special powers or one off anime cards
