I love how specific these sample designs are getting. Pretty soon it's going to be "here's a good design for the spiral coaster if you're playing Bumbly Beach and it's a rainy Wednesday in July."

Ah yes, a classic Marcel Vos ride overview featuring:
- Ride details, pros and cons
- Stat requirements
- Cheap, compact, and expensive designs
- Bashing the heartline-twister coaster

2:35 I was quite surprised to see how drastically the throughput drops off as you move the Entrance away from the front tile of the station: A mere four tiles over, and you cut your guests per hour in half

I really cracked up when you mentioned the Heartline

That is like a meme of this channel right now XD

Really interesting to see some metrics between moving the entrance between the first/last station pieces, as well as playing with minimum waiting time! Some crazy differences in throughput there!

You say that the looping coaster is "about average" so that leads me to the question: what is the average coaster? If you take all of the coaster types and average everything about them, what does that look like?

It's not a Marcel Vos video without a potshot at the Heartline!

I'd like to see a ride overview of the wooden rollercoaster, just to see how much we might not know about one of the common coaster types in the game.

Marcel never misses an opportunity to badmouth the heartline twister XD

It’s an ok coaster type in my opinion, but the way you can build designs honestly cracks me up!

This video is the first time I understood why you’d ever have a minimum waiting time greater than zero.

It's not a Marcel Vos video without him making fun of the Heartline Twister

the mention of the much hated hartline twister coaster made me think that it would be funny if you completed scenarios using only this type of coaster, besides the usual shops and stalls

Marcel, thank you.  Thank you for getting me into this game.  Thank you for explaining it to me.  Thank you for giving me a catalogue of videos that keeps me interested in this game.  Thank you for inspiring me to make my stat blocks in things I create simple enough that I could hear you reading them in my head.
Thank you.  You're amazing.

7:00 I believe the height difference isn't really a bug, but because of how the way the game calculates height. The level to steep drop actually reads at 1 meter lower than the level piece that it is coming off of. The game must calculate height off this piece, so using that level to steep as a drop loses a meter in height. As for the steep to level piece, that keeps the height of the lowest point, so if you use the steep to level piece as the floor, it keeps the full drop length. This is the first time I really realized that and now know that for larger drops, use the steep to level piece at the bottom.

"Mr. Vos, are you sure you want to mass produce Hairpin coasters? They don't attract as many guests as-"
"Is it better than the Heartline Twister Coaster?"
"Well-"
"Do it."

I love this coaster. I love it as the aforementioned EIN values being high makes it make loads of cash for a low cost to build making it great for starting out in scenarios , which is why I love the wild mouse coasters too.

This coaster never left the impression of a fun one so I never bothered, even as a child. Thanks to you, now I am building it next time I see one.

These are much more exciting in the game than in real life! 😆

The heartline attracts 35 guests that will soon learn the meaning of ''regret''
