Kane and Lynch inspired Michael and Trevor and I'll die on that hill

We need a Kane & Lynch 3: Third Time's the Charm

You should do a video in the sequel, I think that would be really fun to watch

You are stretching it because in the sequel Lynch is even refering to Jenny in the present tense, knowing that she is alive because he saw her live through her experiences in Venezuela.

This game is the definition of "ludonarrative harmony".

My god I remember getting this 20 years ago and thinking the graphics where the best I’d ever seen.

Kane and Lynch and Dimestore Saint are a match made in heaven. LFG!!!

Oh wow, I can't believe this game is almost 2 decades now. 😅

I find it so interesting when the worst people you've ever seen are the "protagonist" and then proceed to just keep losing. It's why I love The Devils Rejects too I assume. Terrible people do terrible things, then have terrible things happen. It's like watching a destruction derby.

I freakin love Michael Mann

I did enjoy both Kane and Lynch games. You gotta make a video of The Darkness pretty please

I 100% agree that his voicemail is for a dead person. It feels so intentionally worded that her being alive feels like more of a stretch.

I really enjoyed the video and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this " forgotten game "I nerver had the chance to play the first Kane and Lynch but I really really enjoyed the second game .I would really love if you could give Kane and Lynch 2 the same treatment but if not, it's alright you gain my subscription with this one

Was always a huge fan of the series and especially Dead Men. Was the only multiplayer experience I ever engaged with beyond a round or two. The gunplay was goofy but the weight and slight "offness" of it all was so engrossing and I got so good at it.

Used to be on the Eidos forums and there was about a dozen of us who discussed the series heavily. Gnrgrvous, wish you well brother.

As for Lynch, I always thought he did kill his wife and The7 just found him and used him because he was right place and right time. And for Cuba, I appreciated it since it was a natural escalation as you said. Plus the sunny tropical setting was a little different than the usual army shooters of the time.

Love the series and hope you do Dog Days

I never got around to playing these games... I really liked your take though. I would like to see more game reviews like this. Good work :)

1:07:31 I was on the fence about this video and your breakdown of the game, but the Chris-chan Amogus with a sonichu medallion really sold me.
10/10 video, would follow you to venezuela for the promise of heroine/revenge

If "Kane and Lynch" was made today the writers would go out of their way to try and paint them as "morally complex" and "misunderstood". Maybe show Kane during his childhood having to deal with abusive parents to try and show us that Kane is nothing more than a product of his environment. Or have a scene where Lynch becomes morally outraged and kills a gang of Neo-Nazis to show that: "Yeah, Lynch may be a murderous psychopath. But at least he's not them."

I kinda can't believe how many of this game's voice lines are still burned into my brain. Underrated.

The endings of this game truly messed with me when I was a kid. Both choices being essentially bad endings is very fitting.

Nice Video!!!

got fond memories of getting all the achievements in both 360 version and the GFWL

I was lucky to get the #1 & #2 achievement back in 2013 when the leaderboards reset

Back then the "G2S" was the group blocking the leaderboard
