Great video! I did have one question. What is your experience with fuel range? I saw a bunch of different redditors say they only got like 80-100 miles before they had to refuel and that seems super low. Since I want to do a mix of dairy commuting and a little touring that seems like it might get annoying having to refuel that often.
Those area beautiful bike but the only thing I couldn't quite understand is why they geared it so much lower than the Spirit model. I rode my 1100 Spirit all over the states and it performed flawlessly. You can run regular 87 octane in them, no problem. If stored more than a month, put an ounce per gallon of Seafoam, which would be cheaper than trying to find alcohol free gas. That's just a waste of money. Cheap gas is your friend and you won't have problems burning it.
This bike has 67ftlb @ 2700rpm, a modestly good amount of torque but not that much, where this bike shines is how early in the rev range it hits, peak torque at 2.7k is wild around city speeds with its lowered gearing ratio and it can corner hard for a cruiser because of the high foot pegs, a momentum cruiser. You're right though, it's a boring bike heh
Beautiful bike. Just bought a 2006 Sabre with 23,000 miles on it. $500 😅 Its my first motorcycle. Got it running after sitting for over 10 years, refreshed everything, now she runs like a champ. Really happy with the bike, all ive heard is good things about reliability so im excited for the future with it 🤙🏽 Learning to ride slowly but enjoying every second of it! Msf course soon 😎
Really nice Sabre 1100. I am shopping for one currently. I wonder if Honda made more 750s than 1100s. Seem a bit harder to find. I run nothing but Ethanol free fuel in my bikes. For the extra few dollars, the peace of mind makes it worth it.
nice bike & video! I have a 2001 Honda shadow spirit 1100. video on YouTube. yeah the carb removal is a nightmare to remove. I put large jets in it, (was backfiring.) I like the color bro. mines Apollo blue.
