'06 in the garage. Two tone grey flame paint. Alloy handlebars with less pullback. Stainless steel 2-1 exhaust. Rejetted carbs. 10k miles. I bought it a couple of years ago with 6k miles. The garage has several bikes and I mix it up often!

I own a 04 sabre vt1100 with cobra pipes and tuned it rips my arms out every time I gun the engine. Love that bike, very comfortable and lots of torque

I love my ‘04 Sabre. You’re right about the seat. I replaced the stock seat with a Corbin single seat & I can go from fill up to fill up in comfort. Great video. 👍🏽🇨🇦

I got a shadow sabre as my first bike to learn on.... 7 years later.. i own 2 of em.. its done everything ive asked of it. Ive added forward controls backrest passenger extentions and a mustang seat to keep the lady comfy.
Im also 6'4 350 and the bike has never complained or left me stranded. I will add a full dresser but ill keep my sabre til end of days.. its really a fantastic bike.

Looks Awesome 😎

My best friend has the biggeat fanciest harley, and calls it a recliner on wheels.
I let him ride my sabre and when he got off he said "damn thats comfy!"
😂

23,500 for a 2001.  If you have a bike you gotta ride!  Love the Shadows.

Looks like fun :D

I almost bought one of those sabres but the Honda VTX 1300 was on sale the day I went to the Dealership for 7,500 dollars and I could reach the ground easier since the seat is lower so I just bought the 1300.

If you ever have trouble transporting a bike in your Maverick just load it at an angle and you will have more room 👍

I have a '02 Honda Shadow Sabre, looks like a different bike now that I added drag bars aftermarket headlight/signals , blue collar bobber front and rear fender, drag pipes, Underglow lighting, digital speedometer and handlebar stereo. Wanted a sporty and modern cruiser look

My pops had a saver and my dad haves it is a 2001 my pops put a bigger piston so now its about 1,225cc. custom paint job custom seat. Vary nice bike

Really like your vid! I have an 01 Sabre that I've had for almost 10 years and done a few things to it.. just some rear floorboards, drag pipes; my second Shadow first one I rode from Chicago to San Diego and back by myself, absolutely no issues other than a speeding ticket in Utah LOL.... These things are so bulletproof, I blasted a deer going about 50 on my 01 Sabre, 12 days after purchase... Insurance deemed it totaled, I bought it off them back for $500 fixed the hoof prints in the gas tank and I ride her daily..😂

I have the exact same one. No windshield. Mine has a crash bar & long shots. Mine is an 01 with the same paint scheme. I love my bike. I had it up to 110 it had more but I was too scared LOL

The bike came with foot pegs front and rear. Floorboards are add ons.

got a 2000 sabre. Red with the black flames. Often forget to choke it on first start up. first cruiser, but second bike, coming from an 07 zx6r. love the comfort, snaps nicely off the line i usually cruise at 80 on the highway with plenty on reserve for passing. put a tach on mine cause i kept hitting the limiter in first. Released she doesn't like to be put in 5th unless i'm doing at least 62. Bike came with risers, so really happy about that and slow speed maneuvering is awesome ans lane splitting is relaxing to say the least. Coming up on time for a service i've managed to put 20k miles on her since i got her. I've found that if i short shift during hard acceleration there's a brief skip where she revs freely before the gear seems to pick up. still trying to figure out if thats something i need to worry about.

I owned a cream and orange 1100 like your picture many years ago. Had a lot of people ask me what is that lol

Rad man let's ride sometime and get an @atopper route

Mine also has a long and fast first gear even taking off at just about idle. Would seem it would be hard to make a slow u turn even in the friction zone.

I found a 2002 all black paint with shadow sabre written on the tank . Do you think the bike will fit in a 8 foot trailer?  I had a 1998 1100 tourer black and cream with nice hard bags from the factory.  That bike was sharp.
