So, I met a girl at my work; we have a friend in common. The first time that I saw her, I talked a lot because I like studying about many things in the world. And I felt interested in her too. I like to talk to people when they can talk about topics they're studying at the moment. I have a curious soul.
I realized she looked at me and really wanted to know about the things I was talking about. It was the first time in my life.
All the time I thought about her, I remembered her eyes. She has poetic, splendid green eyes. I haven't been to the beach in over 10 years, but the first time I looked into her eyes, I felt like I was at a Caribbean beach. I have never traveled outside my country, but in that moment, I swear I was there.
The most important and funny part of all of this is that when I talk to her, it flows so naturally. I don't think too much. I'm just being me. I feel calm. I feel safe about myself.
The blind date makes me remember these feelings. But I can't talk to her about this because she has a boyfriend, and I respect that.
For all of this 1 hour that I could be by her side I can be keep it saved in that infinite day in my memories. K.
