"Steer the conversation back to a positive connective place"

Words to live by

the first date is what we all dread about dating. going on a date where the person doesn't add to the conversation. On the second date you can tell simi is feeling insecure and the coach's help get back on course.simi has such good energy and I hope she sees all the amazing things she brings to a relationship.

Cora (the one in the middle) is really grasping what Simi is trying to/hear. She is so sweet and good at her job!

The first guy is me forced to attend morning classes.

When she says that "Im so focused on being the best version of myself that I forget that someone else can help me be that version of myself". I felt that

Ngl, that first dude had "I'm only doing this for the paycheck" energy

Everytime Cora is featured, I swear she reveals more and more that she truly is an expert in her field.

the joy radiating out of her in those last couple frames is so contagious

The first guy seemed like he didn't even want to be there.

the first date was either super disinterested, rude, or super shy. Either way, they seemed wrong together.

The guy was terribly boring by the girl was perfect for her! Like BFF and lover at the same time kind of perfect.

This is exactly why simply "being yourself" when dating is not enough y'all. You have to come with good energy, show interest if you're into someone, ask them questions and be willing to share things about yourself. Dude just came for the juice and it shows 😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

shes so good at keeping conversations going and i’m just in love with her tbh

I don't even know why Simi is putting herself down. She's a literal goddess!

@TheSnickers545 5 years ago

I can’t believe the dating coaches didn’t comment on the perfect mirroring of body language at 8:58 in the video. Simi put her hands on her face and her date immediately did the exact same thing

“How Do You Feel About Her?”
“I.. I.. I Love Her”

Cora is literally a fairy godmother, we all need one ! ✨
THE BEST DATING COACH EVER !!

@DreamerstoDoers 4 years ago

Simi: * starts crying *
Cora: YOU'RE HEALING YOU'RE HEALING
I think that is one of the kindest things to say to someone because it acknowledges the fact that all feelings are valid and to let it out. It is ok to cry and Cora is right, she is healing :) It was just an absolute beautiful and true thing to say.

Finally someone did this well. She didn't constantly point out when the dating coaches were talking to her, or asking her to say things, she just did what they asked but in a really natural way.
