Personally, Lebanon and Morocco are my favorite places to visit. They are the Paris of North East Africa and West Asia all combined. It's modern with ancient culture combined very well. Landscape of Lebanon is gorgeous, has high alps and you can ski there too. At the same time, you also have people living traditionally sustainably with land, chicken, sheep, goats, and cows as they have for hundreds if not, thousands of years despite the short French colonization.
Lebanese food, fashion, interior are sophisticated and elegant and much easier to get used to.

The dollar will give you advantage. I recommend to visit Lebanon now than later. One's view of Arabic culture will change. Guaranteed. You will love the experience.
