Haunting ground was so underrated. It’s still in my opinion one of the best horror games stuck on old hardware. I can only pray that Capcom will give us a remake of it.

I like how he says it was hard to rank The Suffering because "it leans into action rather than survival horror", but didn't have an issue ranking 2 action hack-and-slash games, Onimusha 3 and Castlevania Lament of Innocence!

A good one not on here is Ghosthunter,

Not as scary as some of the games here, but it had some really good moments plus the locations were pretty cool (Abandoned school, Swamp, Ghost ship, Doll house, Ghost Prison)

For me its the Ghostbusters tvg and the Evil WIthin Duology due to how its sort of like Resident Evil (Ghostbusres) and Slent Hill (Evil WIthin) but with a major difference

The Suffering and Manhunt deserve a remake, make Manhunt tie to GTA since they share the same world anyways

The X-Files game fitted neatly into the series? That's better than some of the actual episodes did at that time 🤣

I'm currently playing Kuon and highly recommend it.

The first onimusha should be on this list instead of the third one, because the first title features many aspects of the survil horror atmosphere and gameplay, the third is more action oriented genre.
