28 years later and we are still talking about this 1998 gem.

That photo of Rebecca is of her in a basketball uniform, not a cheerleader's uniform.

there is a cheat code on the Playstation Dual Shock version as well - if you go into the controller config screen, hold R1 and press Square 10 times. Infinite ammo on all weapons.

Resident Evil 2 on N64 is how I played the game and 100% it. I didn't know how special my experience was until I was 22 years old or so. Great times were had on that N64 cartridge; I still got it to this day.

Man I remember playing Resident Evil 2 on the N64. IT BLEW ME MIND. The fact that they were able to fit everything on that cartridge is nothing short of amazing.

It was my first Resident Evil and man did I have nightmares about Lickers and the Tyrant. ❤

Leon: hey, it's up to us to take down Umbrella!

The item randomizer on the N64 version was wild.

0:45 that soundtrack still creeps me out better than any horror movie theme lol

RE2 did have auto-aim in the west, just it wasn't by default. Type C controls IIRC.

“Things you didn’t know about RE2” “Resident Evil 1.5” really? At this point RE 1.5 is on the same level as “did you know super Mario 2 is just doki doki panic?”

Rebecca was wearing a basketball outfit not a cheerleader outfit.

I custom ordered a hoodie with the Made in Heaven logo on it from Chris’ jacket and now 5 years later not a single person has recognized it.

It's hard for me to pick one thing about r.e.2 this game is what got me into the r.e. games, the first time I played it was on the Nintendo 64

I still own my Resi 2 controller. I loved using it.

Till this day, no one will replace Chief Irons.

The N64 version of RE2 was also not ported by Capcom, it was contracted out to Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego) to work on with a large budget and some assistance from Capcom.

Nitpicking is probably pointless here but research isn't that hard lol

I think it would have been freaking awesome if in Resident Evil Requiem Leon return this to Raccoon City and eventually encounters the girl that broke up with him and caused him to get shit-faced drunk and late for his first day at work, complete in zombie form. It takes Leon a second to recognize her but then he quickly remembers who she is.....
