Hi Jenny 😊 I did finally get the chance to watch this video and I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Regarding all of the commentary about my career and my life, I can see that you poured your heart and soul into this video. I don’t know how you obtained some of these clips I thought were lost forever. This brought back so many good memories and emotions to see my body of work laid out in this way. And I laughed with you regarding all of the corny bits. Haha. I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude and it’s crazy to imagine this little film still has enough impact so many years later that you want to watch it with your friends 😅❤

Again, I do want to stress that I would very like to get away from and disavow the Jack commentary, and I see now that was a short segment here.

But yeah, I did want to come back and acknowledge the positive nature of what you’ve said here about my life and to express appreciation for that. I look forward to telling more stories. ❤

In the age of AI, we need more people like Shayne Leighton. Unapologetic creatives who go to crazy lengths to bring their artistic projects to fruition, purely for the joy of creating and sharing it with others. The film clearly has a lot of passion and heart behind it and, for a project helmed by a 19 year old, I think it turned out as good as anyone could reasonably expect. It’s awesome to hear she’s still chasing her dreams and being unapologetically herself. I wish her all the best.

I like how Jenny will just disappear for 18 months and then start her video like she was in the middle of a conversation with us the whole time.

Are you telling me that this girl wrote, directed and starred in her own movie at 19, cast her crush as her love interest and ended up marrying him, wrote, performed and shot all the music videos for the soundtrack, all looking like the coolest mall goth ever? I am obsessed. I want to be her so bad.

More stories written by 19 year old girls need to be given 300 thousand dollars.

I love how the actor who plays the uncle took "Southern Baptist Preacher" and interpreted it as "Cajun Joker"

The real reason everyone in Spoon River died was a tragic lack of basic first aid knowledge. The incubus thing was just a nuance, really.

Shayne just announced that the soundtrack will officially hit streaming on May 1st! Everybody cheer!!!

"European Soldier Found Dead" as a headline during WWI, played straight, is possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen

Inheriting your brother's church and congregation through an incredibly poorly planned double boardwalk murder is actually mostly a tradition in the South, so I get why Jenny's never heard of it.

We’re so back

Walter is an anagram for Water L, which is how he dies

I did not drain her, it's not true, it's bullshit, I did not drain her, I did not. Oh, hi Evil Uncle.

I hate unalive-speak but "Family Punching" is too funny

I thought Raphael's effeminate brown sunglasses were a bit out of character. Then I noticed Marnie's mom wearing the same sunglasses in the flashback. They only had one pair of sunglasses.

Bianca pondering her cube was years ahead of it's time.

Every Jenny Nicholson video feels like a historical event

There are fashion influencers who would sell their soul for a fraction of the drip on display in this movie

1) the music is unironically good. She's got some chops
2) the costumes are the best thing I've ever seen you're right

I must announce to the comment section that Our Queen Shayne has released the Incubus soundtrack and it is glorious.
