"Bravery is going through hell, and climbing back out. So start climbing" You're so right. Thank you.

"Could something scary be happening in my horror game? 🤔"

Imagine being terrified of spiders, then your doctor pulls one out and says his name is Pickles. Might be the best way to go about exposure therapy because who’s about to be scared of fuckin Pickles the Spider?

“We find a new kind of enemy it’s called A TRAIN!!” That took me so off guard.

Being watched? Claustrophobia? Dogs managing to get into the most hellish places on planet earth? IS THIS VIDEO A MAGNUS ARCHIVES RE- gets hit by train

The yellow ribbon on the shoes is interesting too-- 22:06 oftentimes a symbol for veterans and/or suicide awareness

9:54 “sometimes doing something for yourself isn’t enough “
Hitting me right in the self-martyrdom 😅😅😅

I can 100% vouch for exposure therapy with regards to spiders! I was massively arachnophobic my entire life, but a few years ago decided to make myself 'get over it.' I joined a bunch of spider appreciation groups on social media, looked at videos (esp jumping spiders), etc. I challenged myself to learn to identify them based on certain features (which meant having to study pictures closely to learn about those features). Now, I actively adore spiders, can handle them with no issue, and regularly rescue them (most recently was a wolf spider from a Macy's bathroom counter).

Sorry for the random comment early in the vid, I just got excited about the mention of exposure therapy for overcoming a fear of spiders since I literally did just that! :)

My take on the dog mimic is that it represents points, people or directions on your journey to self betterment that may seem to be your goal as you make your way through the dark times. But once you see behind the facade you can deal with the harmful and dangerous aspects of those traps. Moving on with the tools you've acquired thus far.

Same as how once the effect stops being surprising, as in they stop being able to trick you because you expect them now and know their tricks, they go feral and turn violent against you, trying to hurt you and stop your progress with repeated conflict by choosing to be in your way. Ultimately, madly scrambling after you as you escape their little dingy kingdom. These fakers who can't even change or adapt their one horrible trick, can in fact climb ladders and likely do anything you can. They can recognise your desires enough to use it against you but wont grow and learn for themselves. which is why you enter the lab and they can't, that's where hard facts and answers are and those beings only prey on those who haven't had access to the facts yet.

"Train Fighting" sounds like a folk punk album name

As someone who's currently going through some therapy for things I'd rather not talk about here in a YouTube comment section, playing Lost in Vivo was the thing that made me want to actually try therapy. It made me feel like, no matter how much happened, and no matter how many weird setbacks I had, there was always a way through, even if it wasn't obvious, and barriers that I thought were there were just in my mind..

It's okay to be afraid. It's okay to be upset. It's okay to not be okay. What matters is getting through it all. Talk to friends. Look into therapy. Everything will be fine.. Maybe not perfect, but things will, eventually, be fine.

To clarify Prozac causing s*icidal thoughts: Depression can make you both s*icidal and drastically lower your motivation and energy levels. Antidepressants often improve motivation and energy before it can start affecting the s*icidal thoughts, so attempts may be made in that inbetween space where someone finally has the energy to take action on those thoughts but before the medication starts working on that part of them. This means this little burst of risk (that doesn’t affect everyone, or even most people I’ve spoken to) only really lasts a month or two. The medication ISN’T going to make you constantly s*icidal (that means it’s not working/you need other types of medical attention as well) or make you s*icidal in random bursts (obviously this can happen but it isn’t the medication’s doing)

Just finished all 200 episodes of Magnus Archives, and am about to start Magnus Protocol.
Thanks for exposing me to it

47:41 Didn’t realize I needed to hear this until I started tearing up. Thank you, kind internet horror stranger.

Let me just say that there's no better feeling than seeing a content creator you really like talk about an obscure piece of media you love wish got more attention

44:00 RIP to everyone else who was podcasting this while doing chores.

Really appreciate the end bit where you talk about the topics you covered and empathized with the struggles. Feel like it's something other people may not have picked up on, but it's such an important part of healing to be brave enough to show your throat and the game does talk about that. Kickass video, as always!

3:09 Literally matches a quote from Thomas & Friends' Tales of the Brave. "Being brave is not the same as not feeling scared. Being brave is what you do even when you do feel scared."

35:30 There's a double hint here. Nezumi is Japanese for rat, so it's also a heads up about what you find.
