In this video, we’re finally explaining what’s been happening behind the scenes with the company that agreed to sponsor the Purple Turd build.
We went into the partnership genuinely excited about what it could mean for the bus. We had a signed agreement, made plans based around it and were repeatedly told the money was coming.
Unfortunately, things didn’t quite go to plan.
We’re sharing the timeline, the messages and what happened from our point of view — including why it’s had such an impact on progress with the Purple Turd.
This isn’t about sending hate or abuse towards anyone, so please don’t contact or target anybody mentioned in the video. We’re simply explaining what happened to us and why things haven’t progressed as we’d hoped.

Good luck with getting on with the bus build. We’ll be back locally from the end of next week, with a kitchen renovation to do on our truck-home when we first get back including electrical work at Splitcharge so maybe we’ll see you there. Once that’s done I can definitely spare a day or two to come and help with any woodwork and decorating jobs on your bus build.
