I found a Minecraft modpack that claims making your first Furnace takes about 5 hours...

So, I decided to try it.
Completely blind, without ever even installing the pack or looking at it, for an interesting little experiment.

This is Infinite Alchemy.

This was a fun little experiment, gg to the pack dev too.

FYI this isn’t really an old pack as such, it’s just a random pack I stumbled upon…

...ah nuts... now you have to do a full playthrough... freezing hells...

This is my favorite modpack. I’m only on the 4th chapter, but everything is so incredibly fleshed out, and the automation is so much more engaging than the usual routes. It’s really a blast for a long form playthrough, emphasis on long

Wow, I JUST found your channel earlier today and watched all the "recent" videos about old modpacks

Dan i really appreciate you, because your one of the few youtubers who with hundreds of thousands of subscribers, are still actively engaging with your community, and i just want to say i really love to see it, its good how you reply to a lot of comments, it really does make my day when you talk with your fans i think its awesome!
also Dan if you wouldn't mind me suggesting, would you maybe have a look at playing DJ2 (Divine Journey 2) modpack, its an expert style modpack with MANY in depth, and highly detailed quest lines to help guide you through the stages of tech, magic and exploration ages! it might be something you like perhaps! :D

nice start, good to see roots again. Can you pick a challenge? most packs dont have isolated bits and you need all the progression, looks like theres plenty of that!
