I Beat the ORIGINAL SkyFactory in 2026

I went back to the ORIGINAL SkyFactory from Minecraft 1.6.4.

This is the modpack that helped inspire me to start making Minecraft videos way back!

12 years later, I wanted to see if I could actually beat it... but things didn't quite go to plan.

Let me know if you think I should go back and play another older Minecraft pack.

Thanks for watching!

god, as someone who was watching mc content back when this was cutting edge, it is so surreal to see how it used to be ngl and just how much the game has changed since

About that crash and world corruption, I believe something related to that villager crashed the game and bricked the main data file for the world in such a way the game no longer detects that folder as a world, it's technicly fixable but without the logs it's hard to say, but then again even with the logs it might not be obvious, I do believe this is still an extremely rare issues as of 1.12.

Try creating a new world using the same seed used in your old world, giving it a new name, and then transferring all your old world's files to it. Perhaps the new world will appear just like the old one.

I love seeing people playing older modpacks that you would've never expected to see again after so long. You've even inspired me to download the modpack and give it a go myself lmao. Of course I'll have the addition of the WorldStateCheckpoints mod to create backups every hour so that I don't lose too much progress if it somehow corrupts. Highly recommend looking at this mod if you decide to redo this modpack again or any other modpack for 1.6.4 :)

I think twerking wasn't working on your trees because they weren't lit up enough.

Genuinely your excitement made this so much more fun to watch. I was very young when these mc versions and mods came out and I wouldnt discover modded minecraft much later (im only a year older than mc itself😅 first played it when i was like 5-6 tho, gotta start em young!). seeing not only a very old mod but someone so happy to play it made my day :D (dang im sorry about your world)
