"Necropants and the Wacky World of Icelandic Witchcraft" is the name of my debut psychedelic pop punk album. Lol

This one better stay up YT because this lovely spooky lady is putting out some great content

Well that explains Bjork, then.

I'd like to think that the Sisterhood of the Traveling pants is based off of the Necropants lore lol

I once had a comic series about witches and now I'm pissed that I never included an Icelandic witch

this sounds weird out of context but I miss and LOVED your history of necrophilia video, I hope she'll be back someday 😢🫀

“Get your pen and paper, let’s make some monsters.” Made me lose my shit. I love you so much lmaooo

iirc the dying with the nábrók on is just, you get damned to hell forever or something along those lines

I didn't read all the comments so i don't know if anyone mentioned it but I just recently watched the movie about a suit made of skin and the demon associated with it was the precursor to what is now a clown.. the movie was titled Cloin (i definitely don't know if I spelled it right) but the folklore about it was from Iceland im pretty sure. Like the pants once you slipped on the suit you were stuck in it until you fed the demon associated with it by eating 5 children, one for each month of winter or you decapitated it.. crazy. I enjoyed your podcast.. till next time.

I'm going to Iceland in May and now need to go see the Nábrók and visit the Icelandic Witchcraft museum. So excited!

I’m Icelandic so it’s very funny seeing people talk about this haha 😂

I didn’t click on this videos for a long time but I enjoy Icelandic lore. I went there for a vacation and knew none but found out very quickly there’s A LOT going on there!!!

6:38down with the witchness

I had no idea what Necropants were until watching this video and I found it super interesting! The idea of Icelandic witchcraft sounds really cool and I'm glad it was able to give hope to those that really needed it! It's so sad to me that so much information about Icelandic culture has disappeared </3

Thank you for making this video and sparking this interest

I couldn't imagine being an old woman in Iceland. First your husband dies, then the neighbor shows up wearing his leg skin, then he  steals a coin from you.

The Sorcerer's Screed is one of the best resources for Icelandic magic and includes necropants in full.

There was a body exhibit in Las Vegas that had an example that looked like this

I feel like this shoulda come up in a roald dahl story

YouR content is so Gnarlyyy YT is being so petty towards you. You have our support regardless. 🤘🏾🤝🏾

Been binge watching your videos the last few days, you honestly my favourite youtuber right now
