I want a version of this where the different ingredient is actually the same, to see what flowery language jay and baz use to defend the one they think is premium 😂. Perception is so much of the experience

Would be cool to have a pick the premium where in the end you create a final product with all the premium/non-premium items. e.g. first cheese, then tomaro paste, then dough, and at the end compare two pizzas with all the premium vs all non-premium

I would be interested in a comparison between the same type of oats. You can get cheaper steel cut oats and more expensive rolled oats. It seems like it wasn't a 1 to 1 comparison.

I enjoy Ben saying “J one is a different colour” and that it wasn’t referenced once. There’s something nice about how normalised it was to tell him due to his visual impairment. Feels nice to see

Budget Vs premium battle where chefs use budget and normals use premium could be fun

Worth noting the ploughmans lunch is not actually of working class origin - it was invented in 1950 by the cheese bureau to sell more cheese in pubs! 🧀

11:56 of course, even blindfolded, Jamie goes straight for the pork pie. 😂
He's like a K9 for meat

21:26 Ben, "If you're looking at Mangoes," Jamie's head snaps around and he looks at the mango. I laughed so much it's embarrassing.

I was born on a dairy and for my entire life, I've been taught one thing: do not eat/drink raw dairy. I understand why people feel it is "better" due to believing any type of processing makes a product inferior in taste and health benefits. But pasteurization was created for a reason.

Your advice of "Buy the best that you can afford" has been really helpful guys! Keep up the good work 😊😊

If you're mistaking mango for peach, either your peaches are amazing or you're eating very sad mango

The opening moment of Barry trying to find the edge of the cup with his mouth, zero spoon.😅😅😅😅😅

a Trolling option would be to give the testers two different ingredients that are similar, if not identical price, but different brands

I personally soured on Mutti years ago when during a sales and business course we were studying an old article about the "wages" they pay for pickers and the conditions they live in.

@charlottetooth1457 1 year ago

I don't think it was fair to compare rolled oats to steel-cut ones - they are two entirely different products. Even the cooking time is different between the two. It would have been better to compare cheap steel cut ones to the premium ones or to compare two different grades of rolled oats.

11:28 noooooo! I was really looking forward to them trying all the foods to guess! Would've been great to have them compare identical foods and argue over them tasting different

Honestly, I adore the amount of attention Sorted give to their ingredients and equipment. It’s admirable how thorough they are with stuff like finding out where it’s sourced, how ethically it’s produced and how economically friendly the processes of production are. Their attention to things like minimising waste and prioritising quality is so good to see. It’s always so interesting to hear the facts they read out in their videos too. You can always really tell how much these guys really care about every step of the process which really just makes it so gratifying to watch and be part of

Jamie's thing about monetary differences regarding Mutti... where I'm from the difference is like 30 cents which just makes Mutti the right choice everytime

@PokhrajRoy. 1 year ago

11:08 As long as it’s a pork pie, it doesn’t matter to him whether it’s budget or premium lol

P.S. Red Leicester reminds me of Mike making this criss crossed Bloomer loaf garlic bread with the cheese.

Im from Guanare, a small town in Venezuela and there Mangos are basically free. During season most schools have mango trees loaded with fruit, and neighbors with mango trees usually share bags with +10 kilos of mangos for free cause if they don't share, the mangos will probably rot in their backyards.
