I am Becca Hall, an illustrator originally from the Lake District now living in Cornwall.

The problems with purples also include sometimes having blue streaks in the penmarks, where the darker pigment has not blended properly inside the colourmass!

These pens look like such a dream! I hope they arrive in the Nordics for the holidays!

This is your colour palette down to a T! So perfect for you. I'd love to see how these colours compare side by side with similar Caran d'Ache Luminance colours. Previously you could only get these sort of earthy and muted tones from their range. How exciting to have this set from Derwent and that opaque lay down is a game changer for colour blending, that's incredible.

Thank you for saving us from the usual, tedious perfect circle swatching - this is so much more helpful. The examples and ideas and blending were so helpful. This range is too much for me, hoping for open stock in my art store.

Your channel just popped up in my feed today. I am in the US and these won't be available to us until early next month but now I am even more excited and I can't wait for them to arrive. I hope the same is true for the paper pad. I just looked that up in my fav art store and it is listed for $92!!!!!!! Honestly! Holy Cow!! For 20 sheets of paper! I have been wanting this paper for a little while now but I will live without it for the time being. I loved seeing how you use these pencils and I look forward to seeing more of your artwork.

Hallo liebe Kerstin,
ich habe einige Lightfast Stifte, allerdings nur eine gute Hand voll. Ich hatte bislang keine Probleme mit meinen Stiften. Da ich allerdings meine Anderen Sets damit nur ergänze im Farbspektrum, fällt es bei mir kaum ins Gewicht, das es nur ein begrenztes Farbspektrum gibt.
