Favourite Five- Caran d'Ache Neoart and Luminance together!

I am stretching the meaning of five to actually mean ten in this video but I am sure that you will be able to forgive me in time! That plus the fact that I have the usual honourable mention too and that means twelve. So this is my Favourite twelve....perhaps I had better explain! I am a recent devotee of Caran d'Ache Neoart pastels and because they are strongly allied to the Luminance pencils (same manufacturer), I wanted to see how they went together.
Neoarts are the hot new buzz at the moment and I have made another video about their use as a resist tool a few weeks ago. This video uses a bit of that technique and I pair the pastels with pencils and some watercolour to sketch a landscape. Cannot wait to hear what you think. Thanks so much for sharing this video. I only have the luminance pencils. I have the Neoart pastels on my wish list right now! They are cheaper in America to buy individually than buying the set right now. I am a full set syndrome girl as well. I would hardly call embellishing, enhancing and using various art mediums cheating in any way !!
Your demonstration today shows perfectly how we can enjoy using different art supplies to achieve new and interesting effects. 😊😊

Working loose. 23:10 "As much as I've tried to be loose. I can't. But these are helpful. The Neoart because they don't let you fuff around. You just can't. You make your mark and you learn to live with the consequences. Eventually. Currently in therapy. " 😂😂😂

I also suffer from full set syndrome. I’d resolved I didn’t need these for my process but this video has made me reconsider. My wallet hates to see your videos coming 😂.

gorgeous. i love any technique that means i dont have to be precious about preserving my white paper highlights when using watercolor because i always get too messy with it.

Gosh, what a transformation!, all the layers, the different media, its quite extraordinary.
Coloured pencils, to me, have always been something I played with as a child, and I loved colouring in.
Now I need to know which of the coloured pencils I should try first. I have a really really old tin of Caran D'Ache pencils which is the brand I remembered from childhood. So is it Derwent , and which Derwent?

I'm not fussy, I'm just detail oriented 😜 I may not suffer from "full set" syndrome but I am finding myself increasingly suffering from "I want a few of everything" syndrome 😂
