Along the way we're talking about where popcorn actually shows up in our lives (carnivals, movie theaters, the dark right before something exciting happens), and why the fun, goofy side of love deserves as much space in a journal as the tender stuff does.

This is a slow, process-forward spread where I reflect on the importance of those ticket stubs, receipts, and the kind of ephemera most people throw away. If you've ever wondered why you keep a wristband from a fair you went to once, this one's for you.
