Impulse being worried about getting old is understandable, of course, but in my opinion, this is part of what makes this community so great. All the hermits are adults. they're all mature and know how to handle being in a group. Not everyone is a saint (like what happened with Iskall, for example), but the hermits handling of these situations allow them to resolve with so much less drama then would otherwise be present with an smp of younger youtubers.

I gotta say, every now and then you'll see a group of old dudes that get together at some cheap family restaurant every year and they got little birthday hats and everything, and they're no longer celebrating getting older but they're celebrating still being alive. It's a little sobering but it's kinda wholesome too, celebrating life for its own sake.

i get what impulse says, when you are like 6, you hear people saying are 25 and that is old. when you are 18, old is like 35, when you are in your 30s old is like 60+. when you are 60+, old is 80...

old changes depending what age you are for most people, but i can get behind gem's aproach. old is after 70. no bs in that. not changing the goal post as you aproach it. is also a good number, since that is more or less the moment people start retiring, so if you are retiring it cant be because you are young

As an asian it's wild to me that in the other side of the world 5'5" is considered short. It's not tall in our standards either but it's at least standard height and for a girl like gem 5'5" is very tall. Most women my age barely even make it to 5'3". I'd say most of the women I know are about 4'11" at least.
