Selfishly, I would love a Gem playthrough of BG3, but I totally get where Gem is coming from, as being PG is such a big part of her brand. You know those kids never listen to +18 warnings. Hell I never did.

"I resort to oh my gosh" says the guy that has said the definitive "oh my god' clip on youtube.

Cleo is a great example of this idea working really nicely. I do feel like Cleo probably has one of the more mature audiences out of the hermits, but the point still stands. For example I have watched Cleo play the fallout games, and she also has other mature games on her channel and she will not only leave them uncensored, she will just fully embrace their content and swear herself in those videos too since the gameplay is already 18+. Never noticed any of the comments on those videos or any of her other fans having an issue with it. As long as Gem were to set up boundaries and let her fans know that those videos would be 18+, I think it’d be a great idea and I’d definitely watch them.

It’s kinda cool to listen to very pg streamers just talk about adult topics. It kinda peels back that filter and adds another level of connection between older audience members and the content creators

the parasocial urge to hear gem swear like a sailor

Gem really underselling how much Newfoundlanders swear lol

I had a dream that I was watching Gem swear uncontrollably on her stream because she drank waaay too much coffee.... maybe it was a real stream she deleted.

as an Australian hearing the idea that 'damn' is a swear is hilarious to me

9:31 i remember pearl left martyn saying “ass” in the powers session of wild life and that fact lives in my head constantly

Its fun seeing the hermits really like never swear but then seeing cleo, doc, ren, and sometimes bdubs, just going ham out of nowhere
(And to be fair i really doubt that the people thay watch those 4 its the same people who watch the other hermits
They definetly fell like presenting for a older public)

In Russia we kinda do what Grian does. We come up with some really weird combinations of words that doesn't makes ANY sense but we all understand that this supposed to be swearing

Was NOT expecting the clip to be of Gem flirting with herself 😂

1:12 Impulse is way too surprised to find out that video games can have voice actors.

There is something about knowing that gem is a DnD person makes me so happy

I can relate to Gem here. I'm from NY. We swear a lot. The F word can be a noun, verb or adjective all in one sentence.

man this is a cultural shock. in italy we swear so much even when we are kids hahahah

I had no idea Gem leans into the cursing when she isn't "on", that is hilarious. She's so wholesome and friendly and this just adds a totally new layer to her already fun sense of humor. Gem is great, Tango was right from the start.

I just finally finished Baldurs Gate, it only took 400 hours and 5 characters before I decided to actually get to the end. Hearing Impulse talk about Phasmo as a game that could be compared to Baldurs Gate in terms of mature content makes him seem so innocent. A simple thing as a bear hug has a completely different meaning in Baldurs Gate and when you play an evil character you are doing EVIL things. Poor Karlach.

Whenever impulse looks at the camera it seems like he's afraid of the viewers

Gem loves minthara confirmed, the fluster betrayed her
