#SeaOfThieves #BeMorePirate

Its not 2023 again because in 2023 we at least got monkey island tall tales during the break

A season in Sea of Thives is a Season Pass now. That's it

I'd say the defining aspect of seasons is the rotation of new plunder passes that's the only thing concretely tied to seasons

They just did a pretty nice sounding update report on there youtube

Seasons is the life of the season pass.

I think the move to Activision has rocked the boat a bit, but after listening to Mike at SoTfest, the game needed fixing hence the GMU pushed into 2027.
As Drew said today, 6 gallons on Last Ship Standing was crippling the servers so adding another NPC ship to the server would effect game stability hence the delays

Sea of Thieves but in! Wait for it….. WW1!

Imagine a year without content, and then at the Xbox Showcase they reveal the game's biggest expansion: a new biome, new lore, new ships, and saying goodbye to the Xbox One.

I’ve been playing destiny 2 for years now, so I know how bad developers can be, how stale a game can get, and I’m used to content droughts. trust me when I say developers not talking to us is also equally as frustrating, they just feel bad telling us they have nothing to offer

Nothing comes next. It's done. Time to do something else.

Nah, it’s dead and we’re just watching the embers of a once large bonfire smoldering out. Wish it wasn’t the case, but there is quite literally nothing to suggest otherwise

Hi there i’m back!

Is this why Activision was brought in mayhaps...

copium collectors deluxe edition

I find it interesting that Asha and co have on several occasions spoken of the flagship games of XBOX/Microsoft. SoT is never mentioned. My guess is there is no other side. This is it. The dev team has been given x amount of time to fix as many bugs as possible and make the game as stable as they can. After that period is over, full on maintenance mode followed by an officially announced sunsetting will occur. There will be no new content. Custom Seas and their focus on it, to me, is the tell.  That and Mike C's almost despondent demeanor during the last Community Direct.

eeww a single player game

I’d like a PvE mode that allows full rep, not safer seas.

I play solo and despise being griefed so often.

They have already told us they are not doing any content until the new year, ontop of Activision being pulled in to be the finger tap on their shoulders we may see some actual content in the new year but the other side of that coin is aggressive monetization.

Lost its way lol lets see you do better so esay to complain as a lonely streamer

Rare are very good at making quality games but have not had an open world sandbox game to do regular maintainance on and house keep for before. This is where Activision comes in, because this is one of their main fields of expertise. I wouldn't be surprised if Activision completely take over the management of SOT and Rare go back to creating new games.
