So I've been making a mistake trying to initiate by loudly impersonating Austin Powers?

70 YO man in a 45 year marriage here weighing in. First of all, I agree with all the points you made. I also feel that if one partner primarily experiences responsive desire a planned regular “date night” takes the fear of rejection off the table for the spontaneous partner and gives both partners something to look forward to. The caveat is that working to have strong emotional and non-sexual physical connection 7 days a week; not just on date night. Make the date about connection first and sex second.  You’ll find it’s easy to have both! 😊

The most important thing is to agree on the price beforehand...

As a responsive, I'm floored by my spontaneous partner.  Non-stereotypically, I'm the male and she's the female.

It seems like just having an open conversation is like a button you push that makes everything better.  But it never goes like that.

Hey Hannah, thank you so much for your wonderful content!  I was wondering if you'd make a video addressing the fear of boring your partner in bed and feeling like you have to wow them all the time or else you're an inadequate partner.

Ill be sure to apply this to my imaginary girlfriend 😂

Power Dynamic is missing here. All of the advice can be misused to manipulate and emotionally torture the „partner“ who has the higher drive.

If you are married, the absolutely best way to initiate sex is to have a set day every week (but no longer than that) so you can both plan for and look forward to it.  The same day of the week and approximate time is also a good idea.  A weekend day is better if neither of you work on a Saturday or a Sunday.  NEVER back out on your agreement unless you are truly so sick you may give the dreaded disease to your partner.  It doesn't matter if you aren't "in the mood".  Sex is one of the best remedies around for a "headache".  And have a reschedule set ASAP if you are sick.  Another important thing to do is to continually "work on your game" in bed.  Don't let your time together get stale and boring.  BTW, that doesn't mean you can't have sex more often than once a week. 🙂

I love these types of talking points, however anytime I bring up a suggestion that makes her feel like she isn't meeting a standard. The conversation instantly goes into a spiral of her being attacked or I'm controlling and asking for too much.

They should teach this in school so teens know how to actually talk to each other

That’s a great video. Thx

❤ I’m a man so respect, I appreciate the education here.  ❤. For real this advice is amazing!!   I feel I am able to listen.  Maybe only a tiny bit more lol.  But it helped a lot❤

WISE WORDS, HANNAH!  🎉❤

How to say no to your GF because your freaking dead tired and you almost instantly go to sleep as soon as you touch your pillow, but ahe wants it and think you reject her. This situation gets me so angry and I feel pressured. The worse thing is that she then critisize my "performance" agterward, or act in a way that tells me that she not satisfy. All these situation is making me not wanting anything physical contact ... I told her that ... she doesnlt want to understand. Ahe prefers to play the victim.

Keep up the good work Hannah! They are listening more than you know.

You missed mental connection. I guess it is similar to emotional

We have had which i thought was flirty banter etc. throughout the day or even week just to get my hand slapped away when I try anything so I don't bother.

One of the problems is that women who have responsive desire dosen't initiatiate. I think that's a huge problem. It leaves the man with the question. Does she even find me attractive and does she even like to have sex? Which leaves him with doubt. insecuriti and frustration. Especaly if she often reject him.

At about 4:35 it sounded more like confirmation bias than real information.
