What’s your take on QuickJack?

All of them were set up backwards on the front engine vehicles. The flat panel end should always go under the engine or the heavy end of the car. That way the heavier end is supported over the frame and not cantilevered out over the end of the lift frame.

Conveniently admitting one was wrong about a product so one can sell said product. Marketing 101

I was wrong... ONLY BECAUSE, I sell them now! ;)

Good one!

Don't forget you can also turn them sideways in a pinch. For instance, if you have a bunch of cars that all work on 1, but one that doesn't, you can slide the jacks under the car so that one of them lifts both front jack points, and one of them lifts the 2 rear jack points. In my case, I almost bought Quickjacks years ago when I had a Model S, and a C5 Z06. I need the extra length of the 6000ELX for the Tesla, but it would be too long to fit under the Corvette. I could've still used them on the Corvette, I would've just had to turn them 90 degrees. Not ideal, especially if you plan on exhaust work, dropping a driveshaft, etc., but if it means the difference between buying/storing one set versus two, I figured it's worth a shot.

I'd love to have a pair of Quickjacks, but since I don't have a garage of my own, I ended up getting a set of Rennstands instead. Much more work to get everything jacked up, but way easier to transport between locations.

I recommend having the quickjack  against the wall have some of the weight on the floor (touching the bottom) then mount up where the wall mount would be so it would be used as more as a guide than holding up all its weight off the ground. Taking more load off the anchors even though it can take it  is probably a safe bet. It’s just the ground can take a lot more weight than the wall. Just my 2 cents, this is how I had it done on mine.

What I really like about the folks at QJ is they stayed in the chats on the OG podcasts and were in good humor despite Matt’s shade against them. And now they are working together with Matt and OG. Patience pays off

What's great about Matt is that he's slowly learning that people can't afford OG spec.and he can't afford to only cater to those who can. lol QuickJacks to the rescue!

I bought a set before starting to modify my car about 2 years ago.  After dozens of uses, I'm so glad I did!  They paid for themselves over and over again.  This is one of the times that I'm glad that I ignored Matt's opinion/experience😅

You should have the large sticker on the frame facing the engine (heaviest part of the vehicle).  It should be In the back on rear engine and in the front on front engine vehicles). If they are the wrong way around there is risk of tipping in the direction of the weight.  I have been very happy with mine.  I keep them together on the floor centered under the vehicle and park my 997.2 over the top of them. No problems and I dont have to lift them up to put them on the wall.

I see this guy oozing ego crapping all over his business partner QuickJack and can't wait for a more humble, likable 'obsessed garage' type guy to start a YouTube channel.  Whoever it is that provides an alternative to this guy is going to clean up.

I came from my last house with over 1800sq ft of garage and hoist. New house has 450sqft... quick jacks are great in this application.

To be honest, I feel a sense of fear even when I'm standing underneath a four-post lift..

My Golf R slipped off my floor jack while trying to get it on jack stands causing well over $2k in damage to my rocker panel....so more than what the quickjacks cost. Bought mine right after that event and haven't bothered with floor jacks or jack stands again. The only downside they have is they should come with wheels/casters so that they are easier to position while under the vehicle. This isn’t really an issue with something like Swisstrax, but for regular concrete flooring it can be a pain and tears up the finish on the jacks. I ended up attaching my own small casters as the kits you can buy online are extremely overpriced.

I bought the 3500 quickjack to lift my nc miata.  Instructions say it's ok to stack 2 blocks so I did.  Raised the car up to the first stop then checked the blocks.  Two of the top blocks were leaning 30 degrees or so on top of its bottom block so I quickly lowered the car.  Switched to single blocks only.  With the wife in the driver's side to help bleed the clutch I raised the car to the first stop and everything looked good. Took it up to the top level just past the stop block then lowered the jack  down to the lock point then held the down button for 5 seconds. I was watching the driver's side lock in place then wife says the car is leaning to the right. We'll as I was holding the down button I walked to check the right side and noticed it didn't lock and the car fell.  Twelve hundred dollar repair bill.  I did hear the right side go over the stop bar though.  The problem is those dams cams...the one on the right side prevented the lock bar from seating down against the stop. Yes, I should have not trusted the cam and should not have held the down button 5 seconds before looking at the lock bar. I removed those cams and made a change to that area by making  two simple parts that make it failsafe. By the  way, I was so mad that I tried to return the quickjack at day 30 to get a full refund as per their warranty but it was denied because it would take one day to process the claim which would take it out of warranty.

I love my 6000TLX but I had the issue with the jack points on the G01 X3 but they fit under all the other cars. Apparently it is okay to use them sideways. I leave mine on the floor and they live under the middle of the car.

I've had the QJ 7000TL for about a year.  I like them.  I will say that they are so well powder coated that they are kind of slippery, and a bit clumsy to carry because they are floppy.  When you lift one, you will immediately know what I mean.  Floppy dead weight that feels heavier than they actually are.  I would like to see Bend Pak add a few steel handles because trying to grip them  to lift and move is pretty awkward.

Remember you can use the QuickJacks in a transverse orientation. It may not work depending on what you need access to under the vehicle - but it is nevertheless an option.

As previously mentioned, these do have rollers on one end so that eases the moving them around. They also sell a proprietary hanger for the wall. Nothing says you have to mount them any higher than necessary so that the actual weight rests on those wheels on the ground and the hooks are simply there to keep them in place. Great comparo video regardless. Don’t see that happen often where all options are compared.

I have a 7000TL, which is 60" long. It easily fits under my smallest car, which is an F87 M2C. I have a larger car and there are other larger cars in the family and 60" isn't long enough. The largest vehicle requires 72". I got a fabricator to make a set of extensions very similar in design to what QJ offers, but 12" longer, end to end. They were designed to handle the full 7000 lb capacity of the 7000TL. They don't flex at all, even with the largest vehicle. I leave the jacks on the floor and park above them. I wish they had built-in castors so they would be easier to move on a concrete floor. My biggest gripe about them is the connectors. I've found that the only way to easily connect the hoses to the pump is to depress the down button while inserting the connector. I wish the button would stay depressed so I don't have to hold it down with my knee while I'm inserting the connectors.
