Longtang Village in Guizhou, China, lies hidden among the rolling mountains of southwestern China. It is a simple mountain village with a distinctive highland character. The village is built along the slopes, with houses scattered across the hillsides and terraced fields stretching layer by layer with the contours of the mountains. Together with the distant mountain ranges, they form a classic rural landscape of Guizhou. It rained throughout the day of filming, while clouds and mist constantly drifted through the valleys and around the peaks. The distant mountains appeared and disappeared in the fog, and the terraces, village houses, and winding mountain roads were all wrapped in the damp rain and mist. The steady sound of rain, water dripping from the eaves, and the surrounding mountain scenery blended together, making Longtang Village look like a traditional Chinese landscape painting slowly unfolding in the rain.
