dude this guy writes perfect books. The characters are so awesome and he never seems to overdo details and self indulge in ways that bore you to death. He really is my favorite author. Would love to meet him some day.

I find the worst thing about Bernard Cornwell books is when they're finnished. Great author. Propper bloke books. Thankyou 🇬🇧👍

I'm 70 years old and have been an avid reader for most of my life. The Sharpe series, all 22 of them I read back to back, they were so good. I have never done that before. Normally I get bored after 3 or 4 books in a series by any author. Pete Postlethwaite was terrific in the tv series, also Philip Whitchurch as Frederickson.

BERNARD CORNWELL IS A GREAT AUTHOR ! THE MAN IS ONE OF THE VERY, VERY, BEST EVER. SUPERB BOOKS !

Thanks for this! Waiting for the next Sharpe, which has been delayed due to a busy summer, and this has kept me keen and interested. ❤

Just finished reading The Last Kingdom Series and Bernard Cornwell is a God among men.  Can’t explain how sad I was for it to end.
