i spent an ungodly amount of time editing this day of release. please enjoy as much as I did playing the chapter.

perfect example of how people whose brains aren’t corrupted by Gaster friend-slop actually appreciate the chapter

dude really went from "I wanna kill this guy he's evil" to "GO MY GOAT DESTROY THE KNIGHT!!!" in the span of 2 hours

After he goes back and fights the secret bosses he has to traumatize himself by playing the weird route

0:27 I had a dream where Toby Fox was asked what Kris' age was on Tumblr and his response was "Probably less than 30" and it made a bunch of people firmly believe Kris was 28 years old

i love Berdly so much susie just told him that shes with noelle and instantly just started to support noelle on that

its a shame he didnt get the tropical starwalker joke because he missed original starwalker back in chapter 1

1:03:56  "hey dont cut that in half" "Is that foreshadowing"
OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT SEE THIS LMAO

Is it embarrassing that i cried wheb i learbed i couldn't recruit the flowers

Yesterday... was the "Tomorrow," we all waited for...

Dunno if you saw it d/t edits but. If you check the fridge in every chapter, it is empty or almost empty. When you check in the am of ch5, Sans has filled it up. He also cleans the kitchen, takes out the trash, and presumably sets up Toriel on the chair with a blanket.

I think that is why asgore comments about money, to highlight that the fridge had been so empty till now. This gives the player context to why it had been empty and highlights that Sans filled it. Kinda clever way to recontextualize the end of ch4.

Finding the Tropical
                                                                 Starwalker

Before the Original
                                                                 Starwalker

Is freakin' insane

Flowery last longer facing the Knight than you did.

A thing I’ve noticed is that people keep asking “Why did they tell us not to stay in the Dark Worlds after midnight?” But if you pay attention, every single time the Knight has appeared, it was midnight in the real world. This makes me wonder if they can only materialise when both a Dark World exists and it is dark in the Light World too (nighttime)

Damn that really was a Deltarune chapter 5, I still can’t believe that French fry (oo) on the freaking ground was the Roaring Knight all along

FLOWER MAN 🗣 FLOWER MAN 🗣 WITH HIS HEART 🗣 IN THE SAND 🗣

Bro knows, he found another secret boss.

The fact that people look at Kris and still call them a villain, even with the ending, is kind of crazy. Like, Kris is the person suffering the single most in the entire game, even more than Noelle somehow.
- Being coerced or forced, or feeling forced, into a plan that involves kidnapping their parents and ruining their friendships.
- Being forced to watch Susie, a person they clearly have a crush on, get together with Noelle, a past friend, leaving them entirely alone without Ralsei.
- The trauma of whatever happened in the past with Noelle, ERAM, FRIEND, Dess, or the EGG Man, or whatever it was haunting them throughout the entire game.
- Forced to have their entire life ripped away from them as some mysterious entity controls them and does whatever they may want with their body.

Kris is losing literally everything, and is forced to watch all of this while not even allowed to control their own body.

Ralsei is the single indicator that Kris might have a happy ending. Outside of Ralsei saving the day, there is genuinely nothing Kris can do to get a good ending. They are literally doomed by the narrative, and people see this and call them evil. And now, the fact that they have golden flower seeds which are clearly toxic/poisonous from the many labels... and Kris having so many similarities to Chara. Ralsei may genuinely be Kris' last chance of having a good ending in this game.
