The fact that the brother Maso doesn’t like actually liked Rebel Moon clears a few things up about that dynamic.

Remember that Zack Snyder is publicly saying that more people watched rebel moon part 1 than Barbie, which isn’t even supported by Netflix’s own published streaming figures.

Zack Snyder has a fascinating talent in taking every concept ever and turning it into the least interesting thing you've ever seen.

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch Rubble Moon: We Taped Some Cats Together, but I am so excited to hear James and Maso give it a mow

What counts as praise for this movie: "It felt like they built.. sets and stuff, and... it was in a wheat field."

You boys missed the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer by mere minutes... Now Im going to have to wait another week to hear Mason say "Ooooooh"

@TheBigTunaMunster 2 years ago

I love that the non spoiler portion is about 6 minutes 😂

I'm sad they didn't title this video "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scaregiver BOO!" after Mason came up with that name last week but I'll still begrudgingly listen to this podcast

Now we need an Anthony Hopkins AI to recreate the introduction to the movie complete with James' mispronunciations and stutters lol.

If its any consolation. This was way funnier than the rebel moon 1 review.

Look forward to the rebel Moon Caravan of Garbage series in 2029.

So WB pays Zaslav around 100 million a year to save them some money? Seems like there's a very obvious cost-cutting measure right in front of them.

40:20 See that's my biggest issue with Snyder. Sure he can't really write good stories or characters on his own, but it's that anecdote that should bother people. I thought it was a cool idea in another movie/story, but I didn't get to do it, now I'll jam it into another story whether it fits or doesn't. He seems like a child playing with lego's and it's cool when a kid has an imagination and gets to create his own stories, but he's selling this to adults, specifically thinking about the guy that has sex with a space squid.

57:20 “I’m not watching this again. Any versions of this.”

Anyone else want them to do a Caravan Of Garbage on the inevitable R-rated version?

@Its-Tonal-Whiplash 2 years ago

Just starting and god I can't wait to hear them both shit on Rebel Moon

The Rebel Moon part 1 recap sounded like James was reading it from an independent website

"This comes via Jimmy the Robot"

@ClayCowboy 2 years ago

The boys saying “Ed Skrein” over and over reminded me of them saying “Gustav Fiers” over and over on the Spider-Man review! 🤣

@bobleeswagger9773 2 years ago

Omg « They look heart attack ready » is such a cold line 😭

45:02 “it’s the magnificent 7 in space”

Speaking of Mag 7 but elsewhere, I always love that Pixar’s A Bug’s Life is just Magnificent 7, but bugs. (And yes, of course it’s all based on 7 Samurai)
