💔 Pianese Nunzio, 14 Years in May | Controversial Social Drama | Full Movie in Portuguese

"Pianese Nunzio, 14 anni a maggio" (1996), directed by Antonio Capuano, is an intense and moving Italian drama that delves into the complexities of life in a poor neighborhood of Naples.

Father Don Lorenzo Borrelli (Fabrizio Bentivoglio) leads a courageous and relentless crusade against organized crime (the Camorra) in his parish. However, his life becomes drastically complicated when he develops a special relationship with a teenager, Nunzio Pianese (Emanuele Gargiulo), a thirteen-year-old boy.

This affectionate bond (described as loving, but controversial) becomes the perfect opportunity the local gangsters have been waiting for. They use the relationship to discredit the priest and get rid of the one who has become a thorn in their side, leading to a devastating denunciation and a tragic ending. Highlight: A film that confronts sensitive themes such as the fight against the Camorra, poverty, and the ambiguity of human and religious relationships, featuring an award-winning performance by Fabrizio Bentivoglio.
