So much work, but it is a durable stitch! My mom did this on pillowcases. 35 years later , hundreds of washes later and the pillowcases are intact! So I guess it’s worth the work! Thank you 🙏🏽! You do beautiful work!👍🏽🇵🇷🗽🥰

29:23 - sharp pinking shears are better when cutting excess on a chiffon in preparation for a french seam because the zigzag cut preserves the integrity of the garment long term

Thanks you so much. This tute is so helpful when sewing these slippery Sheer silky fabrics. The rolled hem for sheer fabrics, on my sewing machine is very stiff. Is the rolled hem on the overlocker softer and flexible? I just recently found your informative channel. Lots of great tips, clear instructions and fixes for pattern adjustments.❤

Do you use 100% silk thread? I'd heard that works well with delicate fabrics. Love your channel❤

I have a question, regarding difficult to handle things.
I'm using circles of tulle (lightweight) and adding a soft horsehair to the hem, it will be visible on outside of the garment (waterfall effect skirt). Goodness me the horsehair is a nightmare. Do you have any tips on how to join the two ends together? And what type of needle is best? So far I have been using a 70 jersey needle with mixed results. The join, well my attempts so far have been terrible. Have tried inch organza ribbon with some of the tulle on each end, however the horsehair is wanting to compress and becomes a narrower width along with escaping from the stitches. I am beginning to understand why many people don't like it. However I'm committed to get my daughters dress for prom finished.. any advise would be much appreciated.
