I worked in the Wisconsin Assembly for about a year and I heard your videos referenced at least 3 times in committee in chit chat among members.

The knife work is what I enjoy watching, that and you explaining what's going on!

Nate, I love that you take the time to keep the cows as safe as possible by using the knife. You probably don't need to hear that, you already seem to be very respectful and empathetic towards animals, but I wanted to say it.

I’ve seen a few of your trims where I would be tempted to use the grinder a little more, but your expertise and patience means much more than my or any other keyboard warrior’s opinion.  
Your knife work is done with surgical precision and care!  It’s extremely rare to see you knick flesh compared to other trimmers on YouTube, and I’m sure the farmers and their cows appreciate that.

9:07 Having watched a couple of channels where the liberal application of the grinder showed distress in the animal I'll take your careful.apptoach with rarely a reactive kick to pain any day. Realistically I don't even understand why I enjoy trimming videos but I find calmness in your approach. Thank you.

I grew up in Illinois. I have a pretty good idea how cold you're talking about, and I don't miss it now that I live in Texas.

The first cut into the wall, after the grinder, was much smoother than I expected.

You and The Hoof GP are awesome! If I wasn't too old, I'd do a second career as a hoof trimmer.

Just want to say that I appreciate you staying true to the channel's purpose and keeping the focus on hoof trimming. Other channels have become so bloated with nonsense and just do not seem to respect their audience's times, so I  cannot overstate just how happy I am that you aren't doing all of that.
