From the UK. On holiday on an organised tour an American fellow passenger asked me where I was from so I told him near Manchester in the UK. He said that he was called McGregor and his family originally came from Scotland did I know them. He was surprised to learn that unfortunately I did not because as he said, England is such a small place. My fellow passenger did not even know that Scotland was a separate country.
Actually, in most cases, unpaid work is, maybe surprisingly to you, work. You need permission to do it. Several story collections similar to this one have people being sent straight back to the US for saying they will "show the British office [something]", "set the office in order", "do a bit of busking", "give a lecture".
(British person here): Is it true that you can't drink a beer in your seat watching a football match? I often got to the RSC and taking a beer or wine into a performance is normal.
"The University?" As if there is only one university in the UK...really you need to try a little harder when you are making these videos. Also try not to use pathetic AI voiceovers when making this sort of litany of lies. Like "Brad" would be carrying all of this...AI crap!
