Factory Worker Who Cheated Casino for $72,000,000 & Vanished

On March 17, 2023, seventy-two million dollars vanished from a sealed casino vault in Reno, Nevada. The biometric door never opened. The motion sensors never triggered. The security logs showed nothing. And yet the money was gone.

This video breaks down one of the most ingenious heists in modern American history — a robbery so precise and so technically brilliant that investigators found no signs of forced entry, no digital tampering, and no suspect.

We follow the story of Ethan Cole, a quiet factory mechanic with forgotten engineering talent who discovered a hidden vulnerability beneath the Grand Sierra Casino: a 40-year-old hydraulic lift buried under the vault — a system no one monitored, no one upgraded, and no one believed mattered.
What follows is a cinematic deep dive into:
• how the vault was emptied without opening the vault door
• how a maintenance contractor exploited a machine older than the casino itself
• why the FBI called this one of the most confusing thefts they had ever seen
• how a man with nothing built the perfect escape
• why this case remains officially unsolved
If you love casino heists, impossible robberies, true crime engineering stories, and real-world mastermind criminals, this is a video you must watch.

There's just one major problem with this story. It's touched on at the end, but it definitely tells the casino exactly who was responsible . When he scanned his badge, and signed in, he was not only being followed by security cameras, but gives a clear line for the investigation team. They don't need facial recognition. Body size and walking style from old surveillance will point directly to him.

No casino in Reno would have 72 million dollars in their vault

The only thing missing from this story is Tinker Belle.

It would be physically impossible to carry out that sum of cash in one trip.

The fact that no signs of tampering or forced entry was found makes this even more baffling.

72 Million dollars in USD $100 bills weighs 720kg or 1587 Lbs. How does he walk out with this in one hand?

This is the kind of story that makes you think about how much we really don’t know going on behind the scenes.

This heist is pure genius. The technology and planning involved must’ve been next level.

The key card system could identify the person assigned to the card.

The author needed to come up with an equally sneaky way to get the money out, cause it would be too heavy to casually carry as rubbish and it would be on camera of him carrying a large bag. Other than that a cool story.
